What an amazing cafe. I stopped here for a fab vege breakfast. Great service with a smile. At the time they were preparing for Jubilee celebrations and a fun toddlers play morning was in full swing, upstairs. Jelly and spaghetti was everywhere. Great Fun! Outside seats available. Menu, breakfasts and brunches. Choice of loose teas. Coffee. Cakes. Highly recommend this cafe for a visit.

OK for a quick stop, fair prices, good service, worth a visit, the Cavendish theatre just round the corner, nice sandwiches served with carisps & salad

Nice place to sit out in the sun,Service was really slow and food was pretty average to be honest,We had two toasties, never had one made like that before, wouldn't call it a toastie it was just two bits of bread toastedMilkshake wasn't too great, more ice than cream,Happy to come back and try again, hopefully will be better

I stayed in a hotel nearby and found this little cafe when exploring the region. They provide breakfast until noon, so it’s good to have a early lunch here (price is cheaper then lunch menu). I enjoyed the Stack of Pancakes with crispy bacon.Food is good and staffs are nice. But the ventilation here is not ideal, it will make your clothes and hair full of smell.

We popped in for coffee and ended up having the full breakfast the sausages n black pudding were awesome as I myself have problems with sausages n hubby dislikes black pudding he loved his. The vine tomotoes on the vine are a lovely touch rather than tinned.I have health issuses that affects my appetite but ate as much as i could.the mushrooms were how i like them too The place is spotless they have it nicely decorated. The staff are lovely. They also have a great selection of cakes and tea you can buy to take away. We will be back next time were in eastbourne.

The cakes were a bit dry. The sandwiches were amazing. The scones were nice but they ran out of clotted cream and didn't tell us till our order was half made and told us they had no substitute so we asked for icing instead to try make it all less dry which the lady said would not be possible. Then as it turned up we had cream but it did not taste quite right. So our scones were not as anticipated. The pot of tea though was very large and good value of money. The afternoon tea did take a very long time even though there was only one other person in the cafe with us and they had been served before we had arrived. It took 1hour to make. All a bit bizarre and we were ignored the whole time to the point it actually felt very uncomfortable. We also ordered milkshakes. The milkshakes arrived just before the tea taking half an hour. It was the ladies first day and the chef/cook was ignoring her and not being very helpful. I did feel very sorry for her if I'm honest. But for the money I paid I felt very let down. All in all I wouldn't go back but they did have some lovely bits which would be okay for takeaway -(sandwiches) and milkshakes.

What an absolute gem of a café! Food always very good. Airy environment. Friendly staff. Excellent upstairs facility for private gatherings. Lovely outside area too.

We loved our lunch there! Lovely food, well presented and delicious. We had to wait for it a little bit but it was well worth it once it arrived. Fantastic smoothies and ice cream- they even had vegan ice cream which was great.

Got the breakfast box, Mediterranean platter, halloumi fries and biscoff bloodies - wow! Everything was really fresh (despite previous reviews) and delicious! Speedy delivery & reasonable prices too. What’s not to love? 😍 P.S. I would recommend sticking the bagel into the microwave briefly - delish 👌
