Great little restaurant with absolutely amazing food, very well presented. My tuna steak was to die for. Beautiful décor and very lovely designed restaurant, but needs to send staff on further customer service training. The only down side was the service and time management, the poor waiter was on his own, stressed out and with attitude because of some angry customers - my advice would be not to bite back, be polite at all times, to all customers, no matter what. I assume the same goes for the kitchen, they probably were short staffed that day due to C-19.

Excellent freshly cooked food. We had a sardine starter which was delicious - then kebab and a sea bass fillet, both excellent, and came with a choice of side as part of the dish (we had chips and salad). Nice glass of house red and a couple of beers. Ice cream to follow and an orange cake. Topped off with a delicious coffee (husband loves an abatanado) We were given a free liqueur too! Altogether a great dinner, well cooked. This place feels like a well kept secret - give it a try, highly recommended 😀

Sunday lunchtime. The food was nothing special at all, you order your main and if you wish to have potatoes, salad or veg wirh your meal you have to order them as a side so not cheap, i had chicken cordon blue which was just 2 fried breaded chicken breasts with a slice of ham and cheese sandwiched in between, husband had scabbard which was quite tasteless.I will say the garlic bread was nice though. The waiter although polite and professional was far from friendly and welcoming.Sorry but will not be returning

We went there today for lunch. We ordered various food- garlic bread, cod fish, chips, octopus, fish fillet and simple egg. These turn out to be a terrible experience for us- poor customer service that not listening to our order properly, undercook cod fish, salty and too hard chips, overcook octopus and again too salty, the undercook cod fish came with chickpeas. The vegetable soup is just not delicious. Please don’t consider this restaurant to avoid disappointment.i took two photo of food but can’t bother to take others due to poor quality food served. Really disappointed.

Really tasty and the main course portion would be fairly enough for one person.

Went this evening with a friend and the food was outstanding. Some of the best food I've ever eaten. Good portions and great value for money, very reasonably priced. Service was good too.

Booked a table for 5 people for 7pm. Waited 1 and half hours for food. We weren't served immediately, not sure why it took so long. Room was packed but had already mostly been served. It's not a very big place, and there only seemed to be one guys out front and I appreciate he might be stressed but this is not a good business model. There were only 2 chefs in the kitchen. Again not ideal. Others with children had to leave as it is way too late to not feed children but still there were complaints about these people, this doesn't seem fair. He (front of house) also had arguments with other clients about what they ordered. Despite for instance hearing their orders I know he was wrong but he would argue with them pointlessly and repeatedly. After complaining we were told ours was being started. The food however when it came out 2 hours later was great! Marinated beautiful and very flavourful. We had madeira steak, marinated steak in wine, octopus and grilled squid. Recommend the food but maybe do an ubereats/justeat and don't care if it's late.

Fantastic feel-like-home food (we had fish), generous portions and nice atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive. Everything was perfect - we will be back again when visiting Eastbourne!

This place is a hidden away little diamond. The food is authentic, slow food, all fresh and served with pride- as it deserves to be. 4 of us had octopus salad, sirloin skewers, lamb chops, sea bass (properly filleted, not a bone in it), and veggies. With the home made garlic bread, which is ineffably light, spongy and chewy - and sod the carbs! Worth it. Yoghurt pudding was like a baked cheesecake style thing and was lovely. The creme caramel was enormous and satisfyingly wobbly, like the best of the best that I've eaten in Italy. The orange pudding was like a damp cake. That sounds terrible - think of trifle. Orange cake soaked in, I guess, orange juice or liqueur. Bloody lovely. Don't know where to start with the wine list. Amazing. We drank 2 bottles of the gorgeous Aveleda. We'd expect to buy this in a specialist off licence at around 30 quid a bottle. We paid 14 quid for it. Hence 2 bottles, but at 11 per cent and with sparkling water on the side, it's not going to wreck you. This is not fast food. This is real food. Don't miss it if you're in Eastbourne.
