Mr India in Eastbourne

Beautiful. Hot, tasty food and lovely staff. The curry was superb! Out of all the Indian restaurants in Eastbourne this is the best. Thank You Mr. India!

Take out took a while to arrive, but i was quite impressed with the chicken dansak and mushroom rice. First time ordered and really enjoyed it!

Visited here several months ago (only just got time to actually writing a review) but I still remember as the food was amazing! We’re Indian & this was perfect for us. If you want mild.. do request mild as the dishes otherwise are hot! Thanks for the delicious meals though!

Wife and I have struggled a bit with takeaways since leaving London 3 years ago - we were a bit spoiled for choice, I guess. After a recommendation by a friend, we're onto this place... Delivered hot, flavours are always perfect, and I get the impression the food is cooked by someone who actually enjoys doing it.Not only the best Indian takeaway in Eastbourne, but probably one of the best anywhere, to be honest. Ordered the choice meal deal and a few extras. Never had a bad meal from here. The staff are really friendly and helpful and work hard. It gets busy which is always a good sign. Not found a better Indian takeaway in years. I've been using Mr India for 3 years now and the food is fresh and hot and flavoursome. Tikka masala,korma onion bhaji and Bombay aloo, lemon rice, peshwari naan all fantastic. Take cash 🙏😁 and that is important to me. Keep up the hard work guys, your food is fantastic. Ignore the bad reviews people, it's in a class of it's own every time.

Excellent food at a very respectable price. Always busy, so book your food order well in advance of when you want it. It's well worth the wait though. Friendly and efficient staff.

Mr India is one the best curry providers in eastbourne, always on time with piping hot food, very reasonably priced unlike some of the others that changed the earth for poppadoms. Well recommended.

Very friendly staff menu is good with lots of choice. Food was good but I thought it was slightly above average price. I enjoyed the meal but I thought the curry needed a little more chicken in the curry plenty of sauce. Pauli rice was slightly disappointing not enough colour in it.Have had a few meals from here and it's always been reasonable. Tonight had the tandoori mixed grill what a rip off £9:95 smallest portion of chicken I have ever seen. 1 sheek kebab couple of pieces of chicken and couple of pieces of lamb. Really disappointed as it all had no real flavour very bland. Came with a salad worst I have ever had 1 slice of cucumber 1/4 of a tomato with some lettuce really small. Rice was also bland.Will use again but not for this dish poor value.

Have been going to Mr India for years, even back in the day when I lived in Heathfield. When I moved to Eastbourne 8 years ago I was delighted that we had one up the road. I have nearly always had a chicken pasanda as one of my favourites. I love the coconutty flavour. Just had one delivered and I am so upset. It was like eating sugar. No coconut flavour at all. I have never had a pasanda anywhere that tasted like that. VERY disappointed.
