Nelson Coffee in Eastbourne

I know everyone says this, but THIS is the best coffee shop in Eastbourne, and perhaps the south coast, maybe the UK. The coffee is perfect, the staff are friendly, and the food is great. One tip..if you don't do caffeine then try the peppermint hit chocolate - it's lovely.So good they've opened another place across the road (which is just as good).

I popped into Nelson this morning for the first time and I will certainly be popping in again soon. Really lovely coffee and the generously sized peanut butter brownies are delicious!

Very friendly and helpful staff who make you feel welcome and valued. Very tasty food. Could do with more vegan options. The shop is fairly narrow so some of the seating feels a bit crowded, but its a good atmosphere. Good price and good quality.

I can't recommend this restaurant enough if you're looking for somewhere really affordable to eat with a great atmosphere, as I loved eating here.The waiter who served myself and some of my Uni friends Liam, Tommy, Aidan and one of Liam's friends Ryan was really helpful and friendly.I'd never been to the burger 🍔 bar before but would definitely visit again whenever I'm next in Eastbourne if I'm looking for somewhere to eat that's within walking distance from the station :-)

I looked on TripAdvisor to see where you can enjoy the best coffee in Eastbourne and Nelson Coffee came first ... The coffee was very good, but in terms of pastries the choice was very poor and the place didn't shine clean .

Great little brunch spot round the corner from the station, I had the corn fritter stack with smashed avo, achiote, chimichurri and fried tortilla and then added some halloumi. I don’t often have a veggie breakfast but this was unreal, so many flavours and textures!I don’t think these are always on the menu but if they are they’re a must!

Cool little café with plenty of brunch options. Everything is delicious. The soya cappuccino is one of the best I ever had.

Wonderful staff, nice clean, cozy environment. Excellent food. Been 2 days in a row. Had the falafel roll the first day and I was stuffed! Opted for the veggie roll the next day and it was just right. My friend got a beautiful plate of pancakes and a delicious mocha. I got myself the red smoothie. The orange smoothie the day before was too turmeric-y for my taste.

Understaffed which reflected in the mood of the Barista which resulted in an average coffee, Not what you’d expect in a speciality coffee shop. The guy serving though was very welcoming.Food was great, service and cleaning of tables too slow.Credit to the two staff though who were somewhat overwhelmed.
