Went there a year ago. Food was nice but I think it’s the only restaurant in the world that charges more for vegan options than regular. Double Egg sandwiches cost less than a mushroom and tomato sandwich?!?

Lovely reasonably priced food. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Enjoyed looking at all the wall photos.

Went in there with my partner on a rainy day and was amazed we hadn't found this little place earlier! Lovely pictures on the wall from the generations of family that have worked here over the years and we tried the fry up breakfasts. Generous portion for the price and very friendly and helpful staff. Will be back at a later date to try the famous ice-cream :). Thank you very much!

We came here yesterday for breakfast and we were not disappointed. A Jewell of a place. The manager couldn’t have been more helpful and the chef who is the owner cooked our food to perfection. The place has a 50s and 60s character about it with some great music playing in the background. We need more places like this. We will be revisiting when next up from Sutton. 👌

Really friendly place. Good speedy service even though they were busy. Good food. Would definitely go there again when in Eastbourne. Atmosphere good. My friend and I had fish and chips cooked perfectly.

If I could remove the one star I would. I have just gone for Lunch here with my sister and her 1 year old daughter. After we had finished eating my sister went to the toilet to find some man sitting outside the toilet on the sofa smoking weed. My sister spoke to the young women behind the bar and stated how disgusting it was that he was being aloud to do that with a young child in there to which the women behind the counter started shouting, swearing and sticking up for the man who was smoking the weed. As if she thought it was acceptable. She then commented on my sister's parenting skills for speaking up about the weed in the cafe. Not only that, whilst waiting for our food to be prepared this women was constantly swearing which is totally unprofessional and disgusting infront of a small child. I couldn't fault the manager he explained how he was unaware of the situation and told the man to get out (Although we was leaving at this point anyways). If I was you, I would stay well clear off this place with children.

A gem of genuine 1950`s styling with a family run business. A personal touch brings the Italian cafe to hearty honest food from breakfast to mid afternoon including fantastic desserts, good value for money, outdoor seating and wheelchair accessible entrance.

To step into Notarianni's is to step back in time- the diner proudly boasts its status as one of the oldest in the area. Offering a welcome reprieve on a hot summer day (or a blustery winter one, since this is England after all), the diner serves homely fare and one of the better ice cream floats I've had. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!
