Odyssey Fish Restaurant in Eastbourne

DO NOT GO! Honestly, the food and service was horrendous. Not worth it at all, we told the guy at the till to suggest some of the local favourites, he didn’t even bother helping. The food was dry, not edible at all. Lots of other nice places nearby , save yourself the time.

Absolutely terrible service first a minimum order requirement which is £15 they called back let me know id only £11.50. I said id pay delivery no problem it which is fine then an hour later I call them to see where my order was,It forgottenabout.they said they i was picking it up I said why would you take my address and post code if it wasnt a delivery . Shocking service .

Burgers are really nice but these desserts are meant to be the same... extremely disappointed that one is so much bigger than the other, kids gonna argue!! No way to email in or send messages, always got to call. I don't like phoning 😒

I just order for me and friends from there and I'm 😞 disappointed. Large cod ,was more butter than fish . On top of that they can't remember one order with 3 different thinks. No thanks

Very disappointing!! Ordered scampi and chips with lemon & tartar sauce as written on menu. Came without tartar or lemon, when I asked the staff they said its extra cost. Why do you write its included on outside board? Reply.. 'That's for the restaurant' There is actually no restaurant, only take away options! So my point is simple: don't advertise what you don't provide. It's called 'Misrepresentation" and is actually breaking consumer laws. Also the chips were cold and portion small for £9.10. And train your staff in customer service skills.

My first experience eating fish and chips in Eastbourne is memorable and it’s not for the good.the male staff serving guessing it was the manager was extremely rude large fish and chips - fish extremely small and the size of chips were regular chips had no flavour. This is not the best yet quite pricey. Don’t make the mistake I did and find the best that is the taste of Eastbourne

Ordered a takeaway. Delivered just under an hour late. Not much meat on the fish. Battered sausages were like concrete. Pastie had no flavour.Chips were niceBest fish and chips I’ve had are Bamboo Garden Eastbourne

Great food! A tad expensive, but very much worth a visit. Good staff as well

although this place advertises that is is open until 10:pm. we arrived at 9:30pm to be rudely told that it in fact closes at half past 9. as a 64 year old couple, we were pretty much pushed out of the door, we were shocked at the attitude of this place. i would advise that others after the same type of cuisine, visit one of the many other restaurants in the area. even the menu is wrong online with much higher prices on their in house menu. we did check that the online info was correct at the time. as a result we were confident that it would be accurate as it had been updated one week prior. we shall not be visiting this place again and advise others to stay well clear.

This “establishment” is so awfully scummy that they leave two deliveries on the floor and shelf just sitting there.The service was absolutely abysmal; currently going on 10 minutes for a portion of chips.The floor was filthy and grimy with rubbish littering corners and magazines propping up loose tables (see picture 1) . A bag of various soft drinks that should be in a back room was just sitting next to the refrigerated soft drinks (see picture 2).Possibility the worst Fish and chips shop I’ve had the displeasure of going too.The only reason this receives 2 stars is because at the very least the food is not too dangerous to consume.
