Rodmill in Eastbourne

Beautiful vegan pie. The pub was very busy but the staff were so accommodating and lovely our entire time there highly recommended

Brilliant jam night. Great fun and a really friendly pub. Will definitely be going again and just found out that they are having a Northern Soul/ Motown night on 5 March which should be a blast:)

Wings were great value on Wednesday deal, tasty with loaded skins and garlic bread.Returned with family on a Tuesday and ordered lasagne hoping for the same good quality, portion had shrunk from sides of dish and was warm but not hot, fish and chips was more batter than fish and slightly overcooked. Am disappointed after enjoying our first visit so much, not sure if we'll return, maybe for the wings

Terrible service. Sub standard food. Such a shame as used to enjoy it there. The food was cheap and terrible. Rude waitress. We asked for seasoned fries and were given normal ones, when the waitress came over to do the usual “is everything ok?” I said i think we asked for seasoned fries, she replied rather rudely and abrupt “they are seasoned” as I said ok she walked off! As you can see from the picture they clearly were not seasoned! The chicken was plain and tasted cheap. Staff seemed uninterested and were having private conversations at full voice, felt like a wasted night and a waste of money. Used to come here often over the years and haven’t been back in years and it’s really gone down hill. Would avoid at all costs

Wonderful food. Amazing service, jess who served us was polite and friendly and clearly works hard. A credit to the pub. All staff were friendly and we enjoyed our visit to this pub.

Great experience at the Rodmill this evening. Interior and exterior looks exceptional. Food was amazing. Well done to Julie the amazing Manager! Our server Jess was great! The food was tasty and fresh. Booking a table was easy via the phone & there was a free parking place available. The waiting time for Sunday lunch is around 1 hour (ther times 30 mins).

Update:- 24/11/2021.Here again having been to an appointment at EDG. Just a coffee, but arrived at opening time. It was a pleasure to hear the cheerful chatter of friendly comaraderie as the staff started their day. They obviously work well as a team and enjoy their work. The place reflects that. I only had a coffee but it was served with a smile ☕😊. As Arnie says "I'll be back"... 👍Previous visit:-Tasty, piping hot food, served with a smile. Very reasonably priced. A 'go to' place, especially if waiting to pick someone up from Eastbourne hospital.Very attentive to Covid rules and great care taken to make you feel safe.Would definitely visit again. I had a veggie burger and chunky chips. Delicious 🍔👍👌.Thank you to all the pleasant staff and Management.

This was our 4th visit, as always an exceptional standard of customer service, friendly, bubbly, visible, approachable staff and GM. Great food, decent product range. Catered for all our needs, what more could I ask for. We visited 3 times and sadly they had no biscoff cheesecake but this time they did, it was sensational. Food was good too, as always compliments to the chef. Thank you.
