Great food and service, really accommodating with needs of the children and was able to mix and match from the menu.Really reasonable on price and portions are large, perfect for families!Thank you for a great lunch and 100% we will be back

Had a delicious lunch at Rumours, spicy burger, beetroot slaw and hash browns.Friendly staff and comfy chairs. Brilliant

Quite a varied menu of well presented and tasty meals, cakes and snacks. Had two visits in the same day. Very friendly and pleasant owner has turned an old branch of Midland Bank into this nice cafe. I wonder what they use the huge safe for now. A shame the council has decided to erect scaffolding during the summer period, to carry out repairs to the block, but look out for Rumours on the left hand side with the sea behind you.

Me and my partner found this amazing little place on Facebook so thought we would try it out as we saw the burger and shake for £10 deal, first off they are very welcoming and friendly and I felt comfortable as soon as I sat down , we tried out the burgers from the vegan selection (even though I am meat eater), she had the falafel burger and I had the tomato and halloumi from the special menu , they offered us vegan buns too but we chose brioche - they both tasted amazing and the vegan slaw was just as tasty as the real thing. The milkshakes were gorgeous! We both had the Beuno one , overall we couldn’t fault anything at all! Highly recommend for any vegetarian and vegan as there are plenty of options available - we will be returning :)

Really nice food at a good price and friendly staff. We had the bacon cheese burger, good size and tasty with side slaw and garnish. Also had the prawn salad sandwich, nice doorstep bread, delicious! Tea comes in a good size mug! Thanks! See you again

Came here for first time with my partner. We had the delicious cashew nut paella and a mocha. Simple menu with plenty of options of great food. Very reasonably priced, great location and was greeted with very friendly staff and service. Will 100% be back and recommend.

What a fantastic little cafe this is with a huge menu and something for everyone. Vegan, veggie or meat eaters everyone is catered for. The food was delicious and nicely presented. The staff were very pleasant & friendly. We had a lovely table by the window. They even allowed us to bring in our little dog, who sat quietly under the table. We will definitely be coming here again. I wish the owners every success, they deserve it.

Visited today after we had heard Rumours Cafe had been posted on the Vegan Eastbourne group. It’s nice to see a venue catering for so many people and their dietary requirements! The menu is HUGE. There’s vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options for mains and I even spotted vegan and gluten free cupcakes! Ace!I tried a falafel burger today which was under a fiver, great value and tasted amazing. They don’t do chips at all which was odd but the burger didn’t leave me wanting more. My partner had the cashew paella and I was stealing some off their plate as it was glorious too.I would recommend trying this place out, they accept cards (inc contactless), have toilers, the decor is great and they even have outdoor seating.

Have been coming here regularly since it has opened. Would fully recommend the milkshake and burgers! Amazing, I also bring my son who they do special small portions for. The owner is so friendly and always goes out of her way to cater for all of her customers. I've just seen a terrible review above which I find very hard to believe as I have seen the baker deliver the fresh bread some mornings and I don't understand why she took a picture of the other food but not the mouldy bread if this is true 🤔. Also the reason it is service at the counter is because the owner is disabled with bad legs but she still goes out of her way to help everyone. If the closed sign was on but the door was open they would have just been opening and setting up when the lady came in. The food drinks and service is all AMAZING can't fault it

I really enjoyed my visit to Rumours Cafe. They have a separate Vegan menu which was great as it means you don't have to search through a full menu picking out things me & my partner can eat.I had the Cashew Paella which was really nice, and served with a sweet potato, which i found was odd at first but when eating i really enjoyed it.They also have a couple of really nice sounding Vegan breakfasts which i will definitely be trying soon. They also offer gluten free meals.Another great thing about Rumours is they serve vegan ice-cream and vegan milkshakes which will be great on a summers day along the beach :D.
