A fantastic seafood and very friendly service. Great portions and a good value for money as well. Highly recommend this place if you like seafood.

This as a really great place! It is not fancy at all, but staff is very friendly and helpful and food is absolutely delicious. They gave as the best squid and sardines that we had in a very long while. Fish and chips is also very good.

Fantastic find and well worth seeking out. Modest looking exterior and humble interior too but the food is outstanding - especially the Portuguese specialities such as bacalao (cod in salt crust). Prices almost ridiculously low. Staff are lovely too.

Do not be put off by the outside appearance of this restaurant, the food is fresh and beautifully cooked and the staff (owners ?) are fantastic, really genuine and friendlyGood Portugese wine is £2.50 a glass.Steak, egg, chips with a garlic sauce for £9, beautiful daily speciality fish dishes for even less.Yeah it's a bit tired and tacky inside but you will not find better value and quality anywhere in Eastbourne.Do yourself a favour and visit, you will not be disappointed.

Humble facilities, great service, friendly staff, and even better food! Real Portuguese experience hidden in Eastbourne.Important note: cash only.

Great little Portuguese jem hidden away in Eastbourne. An unassuming and maybe even off putting exterior hides something that is quite unique. The cafe itself needs an overhaul as it is in quite poor condition. The amount of mould over the loos was quite off putting.Nevertheless the owners who are Portuguese are rightfully proud of their their native food and it is delicious. The piri-piri chicken is done to their own recipe and delicious! Despite at first being a bit uncertain about eating there, I am so glad that we did.
