Shimla Palace Restaurant in Eastbourne

We have enjoyed a pleasant meal here last night. We have turned up without a reservation and there were able to accommodate us. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of their menu. We definitely will return if we are in the area again.

A little gem of a restaurant serving first class Indian cuisine. Attentive service. We'll be going again.

Amazing little restaurant, the staff was so friendly, the food was top class, after visiting india our standards are set very high and Shimla delivered from the presentation, to the taste, every mouth full was a delight. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely dinner with my husband tonight, the food was tasty and was light. Such interesting dishes that we hadn't heard of before. The staff were very welcoming and attentive.

Chicken chilli Massala was not as good compared to other restaurants I have used in the area. Won't be buying it anymore, waste like thick paste rather than liquid. Will be trying somewhere else next time. Service was very good, staff very pleasant.

I had a fantastic meal in this restaurant. The menu is fresh, unique and tasty. I had a starter of King Prawn which was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. Followed by a speciality lamb dish accompanied by coconut rice. Faultless. And friendly service.

The chef did not cook the chicken and parts was still raw. did not take responsibility for it and said I can never order from there again. absolutely disgraceful. I ate most of the chicken and have no doubt I will have food poisoning.if you order from shimla, make sure the chicken is cooked. the chef is a very rude and arrogant man.

Exquisite well balanced flavours, attentive helpful service pleasant decor a totally lovely meal.

Ordered a Chicken Korma for a takeaway and let's just say it's not the best looks split, not a cream consistency and very watery. Got the Chicken tikka version which I have had in different Indian restaurants and this is the first.time the tikka flavour overpowers the korma sauce. Naans and Chapattis were all good. Sadly won't return

Very tasty, well cooked food I ordered Murgh hyderbadi beautiful tender cooked lamb , garlic rice , garlic Nann bread. I ordered lamb samosas. The delivery was great food was hot well packaged in a lovely shimla bag. The criticism is ordering on the mobile app , you have sign ,the menu selector & drop.down menu keeps moving ,which is very confusing.
