Simply Italian in Eastbourne

Good menu choice. Manager and staff very welcoming. They were going to have a Rat Pack singalong that evening. Sounded fun ☺️

Wanted to love this place, the food… but… unfortunately the actual dining experience wasn’t great.We booked for 10 for a birthday and the team were lovely upon arrival… but…We did make a comment to the waitress about how the 2 £16 antipasti special the waitress hyped, as feeding 5-6 people.Was very disappointing, as we had to make 2 expensive antipastis work for 10. Few pieces of ham, a mozzarella ball, a few sundried tomatoes and a slice of garlic pizza bread (were told it was going to be focaccia.)The waitress didn’t say anything upon our complaint, and the bill wasn’t reflective of our complaint.We also had a hair in one of the mains, a lasagne - they took it away and got a new fresh one but we were still charged for this meal.We also asked for 2 pizzas to have extra chillis… this wasn’t done. All 3 had the same.It was super disappointing as it all started out so well and the staff were lovely upon entry.

Actually had dinner here once and it wasn't too bad. Decent enough. Although once , in 2009 ,a manager offered me to work there for 3 quid per hour, thinking that i was just a naive 19 years old foreigner in need. Luckily for me i was neither of these things....you draw your conclusions folks.

Really poor Italian food. The spaghetti wasn't fresh, the carbonara wasn't great. My husband has seabass, it wasn't flaky as fish should be. They were very busy so service wasn't the best. I am just comparing it to quality Italians I have visited. But the location is great, views over the marina. Just small changes on the quality and it would be fine

Never disappointed by this place . Luigi and Salvatore, their staff and the food are making this Italian restaurant one of the most successfull in Sovereign Harbour.!! Well done guys keep it up especially during these tough times !!

Very friendly and welcoming staff, all COVID protocols being carried out. The menu is large enough to give everyone an option for authentic Italian food. Beer was a little on the pricey side but everything else was very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

I was satisfied with my dinner here. We got a table on the terrace, nice view to the harbour. Pasta with chicken in a bit spicey tomato sauce and goat cheese was delicious, maybe a bit less al dente, but still great. Overall everything was great.

Great atmosphere and really friendly staff the food was delicious best pizza and coffee I've had since been in Italy definitely worth a visit even on a rainy day !

Food was extremely tasty and couldn't be faulted, but there was a real lack of service, I appreciate it was a Saturday evening and they were busy but we weren't even shown to a table just a finger point across a room and told to sit at a table in the corner.And when it came to paying the bill at the end, again there wasnt any service, we could of quiet easily stood up and walked out. In stead we spent 5 minutes standing by the till till someone came and took our money.
