Tesco Cafe in Eastbourne

Popped in for a breakfast on Sunday morning before heading off for a morning out. Drinks were served at the counter and I was advised the breakfasts would be brought to the table. By the time my vegan breakfast arrived, some forty minutes after placing my order, I had finished my drink. The breakfast was disappointing. Vegan sausage was overcooked and crusty. The mushroom, toast and beans were tepid at best. The tomato had not been cooked at all. Worst thing for me was the flora margarine pack had been thrown into the middle of the beans causing an obvious contamination risk. At just under £6 it was mid range in price but definitely at the lower end of the edible scaleThe drinks were good but the rest I can't recommend.

Long waits , staff are really rude. over priced. Wendy that serves me was polite though. lady brought a milkshake back as it was gone off and hot! they argued that the milkshakes were horrible anyway and it wasn't warm!

First visit to this cafe, waited over30mins for our breakfast with three young children. I think they have forgot our order in the first place. Been chasing the order and was told we are the next to be served but realised those customers came later than us had their food before us. We don’t mind waiting but at least admit their mistake. To be honest, customer service in the ordering counter was brilliant, food was okay but the serving service from kitchen is BAD!

Had breakfast delivered amazing hot and tasty would recommend !!

Very good coffee but cakes bit overpriced. There is not any football or entertainment as listed and no fireplace...in fact gets very cold in winter as it's situated by entrance doors and you get the full draft! I agree staff are generally very pleasant.

This cafe is a nice pre-weekly shop place to eat, the food is of good quality and very reasonably priced, the decor is modern and the staff are pleasant

Staff are extra friendly. Made me my boy and fiance feel more than welcome. Prices are perfect for what you get. Little wait as were busy but majorly worth it for the good food.

Nipped in for a light breakfast. Good coffee and excellent sausage sandwiches.It's not haute cuisine but it's clean and well presented, staff are helpful and the service reasonably quick.Worth a visit.

Clean, car park giving pretty much accessible parking spaces 90% of the time. Revamped interior and look and all in all not a bad one of its kind. Cafe was quite enjoyable with what amounted to a very good cup of tea served by the pot. Whilst it's not going to set the world alight it does not under deliver on the modest expectations you might have.

I was going to have a cooked meal for two here but ended up walking out.Arrived early Saturday lunchtime to find no that busy and could see at least nine places free but unfotunatley the tables had not been cleared and were piled with dirty plates and cups and food everywhere.Having eventually found an empty table to sit at I find the table was covered with dried stains including egg and the table had not been cleaned for a long time.In disgust I walked out and found a cleaner supermaket cafe up the road to use.Shame on you Tescos have you not heard of food hygiene?
