Booked a table for lunch on Saturday - absolutely fantastic service from start to finish - food was fantastic and excellent value for the quality and portion size - highly recommend this pub and will be back for sure

Fantastic pub! The food surpassed our expectations. We came in here for an early dinner escaping the rain outside and ended up having one of our best meals so far in Eastbourne. The staff were so kind, after I mentioned being cold they put the fire on for us and turned the radiators on which made us feel so welcome. The menu has such good variation, so happy to find somewhere I can have a good roast dinner on a week day. Can't fault the place. Will definitely be going back.

We were browsing the Just Eats app for inspiration and saw the menu for the Crown & Anchor so decided on a 'pub' meal at home for a change! We weren't disappointed either - we both had the lamb shank which was deliciously tender and flavoursome with plenty of gravy, a big pot of mint sauce and a good selection of perfectly cooked vegetables. There was plenty for the hungriest diner. Delivery in under 40 minutes, will use again and recommend.

Went into this lovely pub last night with my dog. We were made welcome by friendly staff and customers. I had the lasagna which was very nice. I was going to go back to my b&b after eating but the karaoke started. I didn’t get up myself coz if I did it would of emptied the place! I did get up and dance though and had a great time. Will definitely be coming back when I’m in Eastbourne again!

A lovely pub with good home cooked food. Great variety on the menu, inclusive of vegan and gluten-free. Personally I loved the big lamb shank with roast potatoes and veggies (on a Monday). Lovely service and a pleasure to see the bar staff polishing with Brasso in between friendly polite service. If in Eastbourne don’t bother going anywhere else, a great pub with great food and a warm welcome.

We discovered this pub by accident and let me tell you, it's a gem!! The staff are incredibly friendly and patient, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was 100% worth it. I got a crispy pork belly with all the trimmings and I was impressed with the quality of the food and also with how good the prices were! Definitely recommend!

Compliments to the chef my Burger with cheese and japenos was delicious, burger was quality and lovely chips and fresh salad. 5 stars what a gem of a place and the food is amazing. Plus they have their tree and christmas decorations up as well :) Highly recommended

Fantastic little pub, caters for all, very extensive menu including veggie, vegan, gluten free. Food arrived and was hot and a huge portion for a great price. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

We went here after seeing high reviews and expected high things from it. The food came out piping hot and it was really good till my partner who had the pork belly said you could tell it wasn’t made on site and after this you can tell. There was so atmosphere which did make it very awkward but on a positive the food was good and not badly priced.
