The Devonshire Park Hotel Restaurant in Eastbourne

Really lovely hotel. Had a welcoming feel when we arrived. Our room was extremely comfortable with a super comfy king sized bed 🛌. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented. Our stay was to see a show at at The Congress Theatre and we couldn't have been closer. Every member of staff was friendly and courteous. On site car parking was a bonus..

Everything about this hotel is good - excellent location near the sea front and theatres, etc; free parking; efficient and friendly staff; large,clean bedrooms and bathrooms; excellent food at dinner and breakfast. Far better than many 4 star hotels.

Small free car park at the side. No queue so instant check in. Good superior single room with comfy chairs. Modern bathroom. Good night's sleep. Good vfm

Hotel with Old world charm. Food excellent. Breakfast top notch. Scrambled egg to die for. Chef is at the top of his game. Comfy rooms with a great bathroom, shower and a Bath. Quality fittings. Allways hot water. Great position close to Sea Front and Theatre. Great staff, friendly, and competent. Really enjoyed our stay

Have stayed numerous nights at the Devonshire. The staff are fantastic, very much home from home feel. The food and restaurant is superb - really a cut above! Rooms are a little tired in places, but they all have king size beds and are very well appointed (flat screen TV's, DVD players, coffee/tea/water, Gilchrist toiletries etc.) Book directly with the hotel for the best rates.

Very cosy and well run family hotel and I would have no hesitation in recommending it for a vacation trip to Eastbourne and we hope to be able to stay there again in the near or distant future

The spacious room and bathroom (with separate shower and bath) were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb. What made the stay really enjoyable was the management making our room available early, to allow us to change prior to attending a wedding. They also allowed us to park awhile after we checked out, so that we could take a walk before heading home.

Cream tea with friends lovely homemade scones , lashing of cream and jam with pots of fresh brewed tea.Comfy traditional lounge bar with views of the Towner Gallery a stones throw from the seafront.Welcoming friendly reception staff ,will definitely book direct and return.Made a catchup with a dear school friend very pleasurable.

Although this hotel is rated 3 star, it is better than many 4 star hotels. Fantastic food, great service and a good bar. Also has a lovely courtyard at the back, ideal for enjoying a cream tea on a sunny afternoon. I enjoyed a delicious dinner there last week and looking forward to going back for cream tea tomorrow.

Review of cream tea…we visited here on Monday 12th July 2021. Had booked through Groupon for cream tea.Staff were friendly and we sat in one of the two lounges. We had the lounge to ourselves for the duration of our visit. Nice scone and plenty of tea. We were offered more if we wanted. Very relaxing atmosphere and highly recommend.
