Really nice pub, lively on Sat. Very affordable prices that everyone must like these days !

Conveniently located pub for users of the railway station. Not a pub I have visited often. A group of 8 of us called in for a quick post theatre drink. Unfortunately, as it was a Saturday night the staff seemed over whelmed by the volume of customers. However, after 15 minutes of being ignored and then relocating to the centre of the bar, we eventually were served with( in my case an excellent well kept guest ale offered as part of their beer festival) a selection of good value drinks. The dropped star reflects the fact that the bar staff did not seem to notice which customers had been waiting longest. If they had served in turn, they could have doubled the sales for our group. From previous experience, The Cornfield Garage as a larger venue, is more welcoming and seems to operate bar service more efficiently. Your choice !

We went upstairs to eat because it seems like mostly drinking downstairs. Nice little booth to dine at I had steak and chips and my husband had spicy chicken and rice. All very tasty and came very quickly. There’s a barman upstairs who looked after all our needs.

Located very near the train station and the Beacon shopping centre. Ordering was easy and the food was prepared quickly. The signature steak was delicious and I really enjoyed it. The place was not crowded at all (upstairs) and the service personnel was friendly and helpful.

Totally fits in with the normal wetherspoons brand but with the addition of music. Has a strange combination of reasonably up to date playlists (including some older stuff of course) with plenty of slightly older clientele... Seems to work very well for a practically 40 individual like myself....

Great value price, for a nice breakfast /lunchtime plenty to choose from long list of international beers /ciders and local ones high recommended if you are in Eastbourne centre

One of the better 'Spoons, with all the usual facilities, including bottomless coffee. Hurst 700 and Bedlam Porter amongst the guest ales on my visit. With CAMRA tokens, £3.68 for two pints of perfectly decent beer is not bad

Good, solid JD Wetherspoon pub close to Eastbourne station. Same inexpensive, generally good value food (especially the Curry dishes, now available discounted every day), same reasonable and shockingly inexpensive selection of cask ales. One of the nicer JDW places in terms of interieur and atmosphere, I must say. Decent service.

Visited here twice over our 4 day trip and ate here both times. The staff here are fantastic, they really go out of their way to help you. There is a fabulous range of drinks at very reasonable prices - the food is brilliant too, and cheap ! We had shared snack frenzy first visit and main meals 2nd visit. We were not disappointed!!A word of caution though; the other Wetherspoons pub around the corner is completely different. The atmosphere is not nice and it just felt a little downbeat and dirty. The clientele is not as nice either.....Stick with the London & County!

Been here twice in the last 3 weeks and each time I've had a poor experience. The first time i went was a friday evening on my own. There were a few tables free so sat at one. Then 20 minutes later a manager asked if i could move to a 2 person table that had just become free so i said yeah ok and moved. Then 5 minutes later she had the cheek to come and ask me to move again, this time to a 1 person spot in a corner right at the back! I told her no that i wasn't moving again and she frowned and went away. The second time was a Saturday evening and was asked by security if it was just me so i said yes and they said there wasnt any tables spare and that if i wanted a drink i would have to sit at a fruit machine! When i got in there were at least 3 four person tables empty that i could see but was told i was not allowed to sit there because other people might need them! The fruit machines have an extremely bright glare from the colour changing lights around them and after 15 minutes i had a headache from them (see the photos for how bright they are!)Really really poor attitude that non existant potential customers are put ahead of actual customers.
