The Wike Horse in Eastbourne

Excellent pub beers were all well kept and well served. Great atmosphere and a nice change to have a bunch of staff who were genuinely pleased to be there and happy to see customers.To cap it all they accepted cash. Thanks to everyone.

Two of us had lunch here on Saturday. Online booking was simple and easy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They checked on our visit. The place was very clean and tidy despite being very busy with 2 weddings. Food was tasty and drinks excellent. Value for money and a great place to catch up with an old friend.

Amazing food. Went there for dinner last week and was really pleasantly surprised. Ordered a grilled pork chop off the specials menu. Was so tender I could cut through it with a butter knife. Everything was tasty and well cooked. Will come back definitely

Very friendly staff as always, food was quick to arrive and perfect. Never get left disappointed by the quality or portion sizes of their roasts. Will be a regular fixture for sure

Very dissapointedAppalling customer service from the member of staff claiming to be the manager at the time of our visit.There was some confusion over the table we were sat at and we were basically told to leave because they had just realised it was already reserved (after we'd ordered food). No apology or effort to accommodate us in any other way. Very rude behaviour, clearly no managerial experience. I don't appreciate being told the same thing in parrot fashion again and again.I will happily spend my well earned money elsewhere.If I could give no stars I would.

Three of us popped in on the off chance and, though packed, they squeezed us in and did advise there would be a wait.There was and when the food arrived it was perfect. The service was excellent and attentive, even though it was clearly a stressful time.Well done Bibendum’s, we’ll be back and would hesitate to recommend you to friends.

I seem to enjoy the food at Bibendum whenever I attend and that's always a joy.The food/drink choices are great, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.One of my fave dishes is the ribs, which I've had a number of times and they continue to delicious!Great for a light bite, date night or some full-on family time!
