Toreros Tapas Restaurant & Bar in Eastbourne

Tried this restaurant because I really fancied a paella and I regretted that I didn’t go for a fish and chips instead. The waiter placed the cutlery on the table without giving as any tissue. At least they were all polite. And then the food came. Worst ever paella I’ve tried. Don’t recommend.

GO! food and service is fantastic. We had 6 tapas for the 2 of us, perfect. Lighting could be a bit dimmer as quite bright and stark, but a great evening. Thank you

The food was delicious have a tapas set meal for 2 and there was more than enough food. The staff were very friendly and had a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be returning ☺️

Spent a weekend in Eastbourne and had the most amazing meal at Toreos. The seafood paella was beautiful along with a choice of tapas starters. Staff extremely friendly and happy. Will most definitely return on our next trip. Thank you 😀

The staff don't speak Spanish, the rice is £5.50 and it's a tiny portion, and is below uncle Ben's microwaveable packets level. The tap water is below average tap water too.The beef was in quite a nice sauce though so I enjoyed eating; and the food is clean (healthy) so if you really need to eat a clean meal of meat and rice then it's ok. But for £12 oof.Whatever you do, don't get the batatas bravas.

Found this restaurant online before we went to Eastbourne for 2 nights and the reviews were great so decided we had to go and it did not disappoint. The tapas we had was delicious and the portion sizes were just right. The calamari was so good we ordered a second one. Welcoming and friendly little place. Chatted to the owner Sejdi before leaving who was lovely. I would highly recommend a visit to this little gem but book if you can as busy. We tried the night before but it was full so made sure we booked for the next day and glad we did.

The food was looking nice good presentation but it wasn’t fresh unfortunately, the service was ok. I really enjoyed the dessert.

The most delicious Spanish food in Eastbourne. Very big portions and full of flavour. Staff was welcoming and accomodating. Highly recommend!

The service was very slow, we waited a long time to order and the food took more then 30 mins to arrive. Portions are small for the price but the chilli prawns were good. The swordfish was dry and the cheesy chops were terrible. I've been to many tapas places and usually love to support local.Also whilst there another customer complained and the waiter started swearing and shouting at them. Very unprofessional but this delayed us getting the bill as he went around justifying it to other tables. The service to other tables appeared much better than what we received. A shame as this place has a lot of potential.

I have eaten in many a tapas bar over the years, but I'm so glad I came across this little jem of a place. The food was outstanding, the menu had plenty of choices to suit everyone's taste. The restaurant is run by Avni, his father and his brother who is the chef, and a lovley waitress, who are very professional and customer oriented. Really if you want a treat out this is the place to come. See photos.
