Alexanda's Restaurant & Bespoke Deli in Eastleigh

Apart from the young boy who works there who was very well mannered and treated us nicely I definitely won’t be coming here again, food was SO overpriced and the lady who works here speaks so loudly when a customer complains you can hear what she’s saying! Also, no wonder they don’t have a breakfast menu, a hot chocolate was £4, 3 slices of toast was £3! For the prices of the things we had, spending £15 on some ‘snacks’ for breakfast I’d much prefer to go to Weatherspoon and get 2 big breakfasts for around the same price if not less!!

This is a pleasant place to enjoy good service, food and fun. Amazing what the proprietors have done to manage their business throughout lockdown, providing take-aways, a local shop, hampers and are now reopened with meals outside. May the sun shine so you may have an opportunity to enjoy time there.

We called to this shack on Easter Saturday. A very abrupt, slightly shabby woman took our order for 2 baguettes and 2 soft drinks. She asked what flavour crisps we would like, I guessed it must be a meal deal. 20 minute wait outside.......OK.The total bill £17.10 for two small average tasting baguettes and two soft drinks, the crisps must have been thrown in as a freebie! Maybe we should have asked for a menu before ordering? Ah well, we won't be going back for any more of their pricey baguettes!

Thanks you Becca we had a lovely lunch you provided everything to make us feel comfortable in these difficult times even an iced towel to cool us down, the food is always great, tables are spotlessly clean what more could you ask for.

Went to Alexander’s on Sunday for afternoon tea. The sandwiches and savories were delicious. The cakes were absolutely devine. Gorgeous setting on the boatyard and interior is so pretty. Fabulous place to visit, highly recommend.

Small place in a working boat yard so interesting to people watch. Dog friendly space outside. The full English is fab and really good value. Been to a baby shower there which was lovely and so much food we took some home!

This is a superb little place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Lovely fresh home cooked food, always piping hot. Great breakfast choice, lovely coffee and cakes and dinner on a friday & saturday night is a real treat with the place decked out with lots of twinkling fairy lights! Alex and Manda run a brilliant little deli/bistro cooking wonderful food, served with great banter! They also offer the added bonus of private and outside catering! Definitely a business locals should be supporting!

Om Nom Nom....Bacon & brie baguette (say yes if offered cranberry!!), with a veritable mound of side greenery. Very filling - so alas I have no room for any of the very tempting cakes perched invitingly next to the till.Not cheap fast food (is anything in a marina cheap?!) - sit down and savour the break.Attentive service and free banter.

We happened upon this delightful restaurant & deli as we'd seen the marina from the motorway on our way to Bournemouth. Manda & Alex were extremely welcoming and the food was extremely good indeed. My bacon was booked exactly as I'd asked for it (almost cremated) despite Alex wanting to throw it away and make me some more. The interior of the deli is bright and airy with lots of delicious food to take-away too. Manda took the time to explain when they were open in the evenings, about the pie club and the home-made salad dressing !!! Both Alex and Manda are extremely enthusiastic and proud of their business and rightly they should be too. We shall be returning for an evening meal despite having to travel from Haslemere (we know it'll be worth the distance). Don't hesitate to try this little restaurant & deli - you wont be disappointed.
