Great alternative bar. Brew their own beer and have a simple, but good food offering. Drinks prices sensible. Good age range mix.

A real friendly "local" pub with its own craft ale (CAMRA) on-site brewery, restaurant serving great food and regular live musicians entertainment. NOT to be missed! 👍🙂

Amazing place, really great atmosphere to it all and love the fact you can go out back and see all their brewery equipment. Food was amazing, honestly some of the best burgers I've ever had, and they've got great sides, specifically the halloumi fries, just on another level of quality. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely adore Steam Town. I’ve visited on several occasions and every time it has just got better. If you’re going for food, they have a great amount of varieties of burgers and also loaded fries which are super tasty!As for their drinks selection, they have something for everyone. The only complaint I’d have , if any, is that they need to have more Steam Stout on tap as the last few occasions they’d only had it by the can. Other than that this place is exceptional. The decor inside is really cool, with its old train seating and also the outside has a fantastic “protection” area if the weather isn’t particularly great!

Having gone here only for takeaway, I came for lunch and was not disappointed. The food here is excellent and they have a good selection of both their own and guest beers, all reasonably priced. The service was friendly and superb. I'm sure I'll be back here again.

This place is truly superb. I have been trying to find a good burger place in the UL and it had been mission impossible until we found this one.The menu is limited, which is an indication of focus and that is always good.Plus ciders and beers are very good too

Best pub in town. Great craft ale pub, huge selection to pick from, lovely quirky decor with what looks like old first class rail carriage seats in the dining area themed gents using barrels for the sinks and urinals, great ambience, friendly staff, live music when we were there on a Thursday. Very dog friend, 4 dogs counted by me, an a bowl of free doggy treats on the bar to hand out. Quite rightly called the best in toen
