J.Henry's Fish & Chips in Eastleigh

Sonny and all at J Henry's went above and beyond to provide my son's favourite takeaway for him and his friends at his 5th birthday party this past weekend. The food was, as always, amazing. Everyone loved it, especially my son.Forget Binely Mega Chippy, J Henry's should be the one all over Tik Tok.Amazing food, amazing staff. There are none better.Thank you all for making my son so happy.

We always get our chippy tea from J Henry and it’s always lovely.We got married a couple weeks ago, and decided to use them to feed our guests. How they managed to cook 83 meals is mind blowing to me. The handover was super smooth and fast and everyone enjoyed their meals. My friend, who had travelled over from America, who has never had fish and chips before was super impressed, saying it was delicious! Another friend, who was a vegetarian until she was tempted by a battered sausage, said it was the best battered sausage she ever had!Thank you to all who helped cook our meals, it was great and so yummy. Best chip shop around.

BEST CHIPPY FISH IVE EVER HAD!!!! So much flavour, so tasty….. at first we thought it was overpriced…. But not at all…. So worth it!!!! Good service from a young team too :)!!! Perfect!!!As newbies to hedge end looking forward to plenty more great food!!!

Just tucking into the cod and chips now, fish is perfectly portioned, flaky and tastes of the sea, lovely and fresh. Batter is really crisp even after driving 10 minutes to get home, everything was cooked to order. Temperature is good and the chips are tasty. Lovely fish and chips dinnerUpdate June 2022, after a fun family day out to the unwrapped event, treated with a fish and chips with a bit of of a Saveloy sausage and curry sauce. Really fresh fish can definitely taste this, lovely batter crisp, not oily at all and flavour is outstanding. Chips were good, Saveloy toasty and lovely curry sauce. Keep up the good work.

Ordered from here tonight, the chips were dry and tasted like they were refried even tho we collected at 5.15, 15 minutes after opening, the fish was tasteless and greasy along with the battered sausage dripping in grease..never again.waste of £20.00 :/

Fabulous hake guys ,great meal. No need for so many chips just improve the quality. The chips let you down. Fab team. 👍

Ordered from here tonight for the first time and I gotta say it was the best fish I think I’ve ever had! I was skeptical about how it would be when it arrived, as I used Deliveroo, but the batter was still crispy and nothing needed reheating, so credit to the delivery driver too. I ordered the Large Haddock which I would recommend and some chicken strips (which was just as good). Definitely will be going here again for the Friday fish and chips. 5 stars!

Definitely the best fish and chips I've had in a long while. Fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, flaked away under the fork without being chewy. Batter was crispy and light, not oily at all. Service as good as the fish, well above par. Thanks for a great Friday night meal.

This chippy is absolutley amazing, the chips have a mix of soft and crispy which is quite perfect. The chips are not to starchy infact they are quite prefect. The fish has a golden flacky batter that melts in the mouth, the batter is never soggy on any of my visits and the food is always hot and smells great, the sausages are great portion sizes and are not to tough but taste great. One problem is the chips portion sizes have seemed to get smaller especially with the children meals, the shop is very professionally run and is my go to chippy, the prices for the food is very low and is still good quality. I have never bought fish and chips from any other shop and reccomend this to all of my friends many of which live a few miles away. They all say that they would travel 100 miles for this chip shop. If i could choose any chip shop in the world i would choose none other than J henrys fish and chips. I am privileged to have such a godsend of a chippy local to me and would love to praise you all for your tremendous efforts in the fish and chips ecomony and industry

Just had the worst fish and chips ever.🤮🤮🤮Full of fat greasy as hellChips were Luke warm.Batter soggy from so much grease.Most went in binNot gonna be recommending this chippy ever to friends
