Maya in Eastleigh

Food was delicious as always, never afraid to try something new as it's all tasty. Service was a little slow on this occasion, they were very busy and appeared short staffed, hopefully a temporary issue which will be resolved soon

Just had a very enjoyable meal at the Maya. Excellent food with very friendly efficient staff. I can thoroughly recommend.

Ordered off one of the delivery apps, prompt delivery was tasty.

Ordered on Just Eat. Order never arrived even after I called and was told 40 minutes after it was due, that it was on its way. Never again.

We waited almost 3 hours for our food, that cost almost £80. The guy on the phone kept saying 'another 10 minutes, he is on his way' he wasn't! when our food did arrive, order was wrong! Items were missing and the food was so cold it was congealed and inedible. I call again, they promise to return to collect bad food and they will issue refund. They didn't return, had to get refunded through Uber eats app. Food has been always good here. Service ok but on this occasion total fail and that was our last Maya order. Look around you can definitely do better than this place now.

We had a really great meal here. It was our first time eating here and we will certainly want to go again. Modern decor, great staff. Excellent!

Not in the same class as Jalalabad or sunrise..first time I have used them for a few years..and possibly the last. Food is not up to standards in any form.

Takeaway- Chicken Tikka was the korma with a bottle of red food colouring added… the keema Nan had the same bright red contents… the prawn Balti had mushy prawns… whole thing lacked seasoning or flavour which for spiced food is a real achievement! Clearly new owner or chef as eaten in pre lock down and was lovely- worst food I’ve eaten this year!

I would say that the naan bread wasn't recently made, because it came cold and rubbery. The lamb korma tasted just like coconut, with lots of grated coconut. I've tried this dish in a few Indian restaurants (even I made it myself a couple of times) and never tasted like that

Ordered a chicken dopiaza. Absolutely tasteless not even a drop of seasoning. Tastes like it’s from a jar. Find it hard to believe this is cooked fresh coming from Indian heritage myself this couldn’t of been more tasteless and rubbish.
