Excellent fish and chips etcEDIT - still tasty fish and chips, perhaps portion sizes are smaller than before but biggest issue was with what they were mistakenly calling "Mushy peas." I had some tonight and they were definitely not peas that were mushed, but rather " Watery green stuff with a hint of pea smell" Very disappointing, will be claiming a refund for this

Wouldn't ever date go anywhere else but here. The most amazing fish and chips/Food along the south coast. Nothing compares to Mike's. Spotlessly clean, and fresh food cooked to order. This is not a fast food slum. Care is taken by all the staff who and neat and clean in crisp white uniform. Outstanding food outstanding service. Thank you to all at Mike's you truly are wonderful. Nothing to share, per se. We wanted Fish and Chips, our first choice was too busy, so remembered this place to try. No complaints with service or quality of food. Prices seem reasonable. Unlike some places, all staff I SAW wore Uniform - white t-shirt and Kitchen Trousers (?) - and a special Hat.

Stopped here randomly after an evening walk back from the pub took us down Church Road and glad we did.Best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. We might have been lucky that everything was cooked fresh but either way the chips were hot, crisp and floury inside. The batter on the cod was crispy to the end. Only minor criticism was that I asked for salt and vinegar and they were a bit stingy on that front. Otherwise it was a revelation.

Beautiful chips with a pea fritter with a light crispy batter. Massive portions of tasty chips and delivery was only 20 mins to Chandlers Ford. Would definitely recommend.

Deliveroo messed around with supplying our order but Mike made it again fresh for us and even sent a voucher with a handwritten apology. I was going to leave a great review anyway because the food was absolutely delicious but I felt more compelled to do so after receiving something so thoughtful from Mike.It speaks volumes about this business and I only wish there were more business owners in the world who were as down to earth.The haddock was amazing I definitely recommend adding it to your order!Thank you so much :)

As you well know, exceptional fish and chip shops are far and few between. I drive a fair distance to purchase one of the best fish and chip dinners I have ever had. The staff are friendly, everything is cooked to order, and the management are fantastic. I could not recommend this outstanding chip shop enough. The light and crispy batter is perfect. Thank you for the service and highest quality food.
