Good food great atmosphere excellent service

What a shame about this place as it used to be top notch.We met up with friends last Sunday for carvery and on the face of it looked as good as ever and couldn't fault the waiting staff the trouble was with the roast dinner.My wife and I chose Beef as not keen on turkey,gammon or pork it was very rare,pink and wobbled like jelly.When my wife said we like it cooked more than that the surver sarcastically said 'you've come to the wrong carvery'on tasting the beef unfortunately it was tasteless and took ages to swallow as it was so chewy.The vegetables weren't much better ether.Onother thing the same guy wouldn't let my friend have crackling as he didn't have pork.Little things like that make a difference to the customer.

Sunday carvery, 4 meats on offer, plus all the veg, everything cooked and presented to perfection. Best carvery had for many years, will be back very soon. At £12.95 per head , for 2 courses, superb quality. Was very busy when we went but staff were amazing, no waiting for drinks or service , well done all involved.

Went here today for a family birthday meal. The carvery was excellent, Beef, Pork, Turkey and Gammon to choose from, I only had the Beef as it looked so good and I was not disappointed. Roast Potatoes, Roast Parsnips, Yorkshire puds, Brocoli Cauliflower cheese, swede and carrot mash, Carrots, Peas and Beans. Service was also very good so all in all one very happy family.

We had a large table for my nephews birthday today,the carvery was amazing and the staff were so friendly,will definitely be coming back,we'll done😋

Had nice carvery here today next to window lovely meats not dry at all .creamy soup spot on .Nice friendly staff and everything looked clean and fresh ,nice pint of Marreti lager 👍🍺 I'll b bac 😉

Excellent Sunday Carvery. £12.95 for adults it includes a complimentary soup of the day. The food is always hot and super tasty, compliments to the chef. The staff were polite and attentive. 100% recommend

First time visit after so many recommendations. A great carvery spread. The various meats were cooked beautifully, the vegetables were delicious, the Yorkshire puddings were enormous and the onion gravy was excellent. (Running out of superlatives). Great service, spotlessly clean, easy parking and very reasonable prices. What more could you want? I would advise booking in advance. This place is, quite rightly, very popular. Enjoy.
