Good selection of Ales and dog friendly. Two large car parks and going by the amount of people having meals the food must be good!

Small warm cosy homely pub with large conservatory for food. Staff really friendly. Food absolutely excellent! Has TV screens usually on silent as background on a weeknight. Has Juke box. Outside seating. Own car park. Up to eight of us friends meet here most weeks on one weeknight a week. We used to go somewhere else but this has a nicer feel so think that says it all. Really recommend!

Busy pub with lots of seating. A conservatory increases the dinning area significantly. There was a good atmosphere, and a large selection on the menu. We were a table of 10 so had to submit our menu choices ahead. Despite this, two of the meals came out wrong? I had the Cajun chicken. It was nicely spiced, came with onion rings and a flat mushroom, lots of chips. Chicken texture wasn't great. Chips weren't quite crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Had much better. I wouldn't have the Cajun chicken 🐓 again. But there's lots of other things to try.

We turned up at 530 and were told food didn’t start until 6. We were the only people waiting for food at this point, until a group of 4 turned up at 6oclock. Once they arrived they were told that the chef is in traffic and will be late. We waited until 6.20,when they then proceeded to serve the other group their drinks and asked to take their meal orders. They asked to wait a while, to which to waitress returned to them, had a long chat and took their food order… the whole time we were ignored after waiting 50 minutes and the chef still hadn’t turned up. Not good customer service won’t be returning again

Come down from Swindon to see a relative and popped in for some lunch. Booked really easily over the phone and was greeted with a smile. Food and menu was varied and everyone (4) really enjoyed the food. It was presented well and had great taste. Would recommend and will return in the near future.Thank you

My family and friends have had a wonderful afternoon celebrating my Dad's 100th birthday today. The staff have been so helpful and friendly from the day we booked. Thank you to all the staff for making it such a great day to remember

Great little place just on the outskirts of town. Good menu. Food cooked well and friendly staff.

Panini wasn't cooked enough, cheese still cold and ham. Menu didn't state the panini came with coleslaw and salad and as having allergies this was important so could not eat most of it. Was 8 pound and found overpriced. Chips were nice but not offered any condiments. Also 3.50 for chips quite high priced. Friend enjoyed the hunters chicken however.
