Station in Eastleigh

Woops! I wish to apologise , I gave a poor review on Sunday regarding a curry.I have egg on my face as the meal was bought in the wagon works & not the station. Please accept my apology. I gave a one star. I am very sorry indeed.

Place is homey and the food was average and could have been better. Otherwise the experience was pleasant.

Fantastic place, nice atmosphere busy Friday and Saturday nights with DJ. Food brilliant and great staff

Great pub, not just an evening venue either, food is tasty and good sized portion. Reasonably price and some very friendly bar staff. Special mention to the ladies who work the weekend nights who were speedy and friendly. A great place to party at the weekend !

Big bar, friendly staff and surprisingly good food.We popped in here for a quick drink and some food before going to The Point, and we were really pleased we did.I had a pint of mango cider and it was great, I maybe would have a half in future as it was quite sweet, but I did enjoy it. They have loads of really interesting ciders and beers, my partner had a beer but I don't know which but he said it was great.I then had the vegan burger, why is nothing vegetarian anymore I wonder? And i asked for real cheese, the whole thing was really nice and very filling. They do the burgers in different sizes two patties being the standard and plenty for me, I'm a big eater! My partner had the curry with rice and he liked tgat too.If I were in the area and wanted a nice cider and food I wouldn't hesitate to go in again.My only slight dislike is the vast amount of TV screens everywhere, I mean everywhere you really can't miss them! Great if you are watching a game with sound on but no game and no sound on the night we went in. So we tried to ignore some sort of fishing programme where they kept holding up lobster before dropping them into massive water tanks. Not great TV even with sound on but veth odd and a bit horrid without sound. Try as you might the TV's are impossible to ignore.

Nice atmosphere, food was disappointing, fish was under cooked, woth a small portions of mushy peas and tartare sauce. The steak and ale pie was a small slice rather than a pie with about 12 chips.

Great food but LOOOOONG wait and terrible portions. Plus forgot multiple food items. Honestly the adults chip sides are same as the kids!! A small handful! Asked for onion rings that where forgot from my meal and received two. Pathetic portion overall plus forgot other sides. Burgers where bright pink! I hate to say this because the steak was fantastic and overall tasted good but Jesus after a huge wait I felt like walking out after missing items. Not even busy btw.

My daughter and I went for lunch here Monday 21st March (yesterday, )they were dog friendly and very clean. We had a fish meal that was absolutely delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I was on my disabled scooter and well catered for. The disabled toilet was easy accessible and clean I would definitely visit again at this pub.

Friendly from the moment you arrive. Clean in not just the bar but the floors tables and toilets. Only had a pudding so far that was excellent, and the food I've seen going out to other tables looks amazing! Beer is kept well and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit anytime.

Highly recommend the station, the staff are always bubbly and friendly. Andy, Victoria, Lauren, Lea, Abbie and Ben are a great team and always make your experience memorable! Drinks and food are well priced and the atmosphere at the weekend is incredible, will never go anywhere else!
