The food was excellent. The staff were friendly but the waiting time was poor. Have been here many times before but have never had to wait so long to be served.

Awful service & average food.... which had been left too long under the hot plate. We wouldn't visit again!

Great food and great value, just service a little slow but it was busy

Not consistent, everyday breakfast looked different. Dinner service good apart one incident when I received bill to pay before tomato sauce which I asked for in begin of my meal.

Lovely place to eat, food was really tasty and staff were lovely and came over to have a chat with us after we had eaten. Thankyou for the great experience šŸ‘šŸ™‚

It was my daughters second birthday and staff in this pub were so helpfull and went over and above singing happy birthday to her. Food and general service was also excellent. Would certainly recommend.

Absolutely disgusted with the treatment I had hereI’ve been using this hotel and restaurant now for three years and have never complainedLast night I ate here and it was ok Expensive but it was okTonight was hungry so we decided to go againI decided to have the same thingWe were the only two in the restaurant but waited half an hour not sure whyBy the time the food got us was really hungry but the portions were tiny half the size of the evening beforeSo I politely asked the woman who served us to come and take a look at how small the pieces of meat were and any chance of some bigger portions at which point she wanted to take the whole plate away I explained I was hungry but could she bring me some more chicken and gammon as far as she was aware I would of paid for them but didn’t askShe got angry and demanded the plate so I gave itShe then came back empty handed saying it was the same as any night I explained no I had the same last night and it’s half the sizeShe then said the chef has said no it’s the sameI stated I was the customer and shouldn’t have to argue but can I speak to the chefAt which point she said your talking to me I’m the managerThe attitude was disgustingWhich I told herI then said where is my dinner which she said it’s under a hot light of some sortSo now it will be drySo I said I want a different dinner it will be dry by nowSo her response was to tell me to leave the restaurantThen she flew into reception lying saying I’d kicked of and call my companyI explained I hadn’t kicked of but simply wasn’t happy with my foodBut can call my company but I’m the owner so talk to meI explained I was paying for the other meal but wasn’t interestedThen my colleague came up to the room saying she Was going to call the police because he couldn’t paySo I went down to pay and again she had attitude saying I’d been shoutingAt no point had I which I explained which she said again leave the restaurantAwful experienceHer name is Heather and apparently is the managerNot sure she is in the right position to deal with customersIf you eat here what ever you do don’t complainShould of gone to McDonald’s

Food passable, but a fair price. Kids meals all over the place in terms of portion size - the pizza is enormous, the chicken not so much. The menu is far more limited than it used to be, and lots of supply issues amongst what's left (based on the slip that fell out of the menu).Service was poor - one lady seating people and taking orders, despite several people milling around behind the bar.Took 35 minutes to place food order; and one dish arrived well after the rest.

Very ample, very quiet place. Relatively cheap prices. We paid Ā£30 for 2 and had enormous amount of food. It’s only Ā£8.99 at the moment between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday for any TWO main meals - and you can have lots of them eg chips, ā€˜smothered’ chicken, salad etc. Quite delicious and generous portions. Very few customers inside, place isn’t romantic at all - in a middle of M3/Leigh Rd junction. Very noisy outside, nothing like garden or outside tables, and it looks like that few people ever go there apart from Premier Inn’s guests. Staff is young and in my case wasn’t very well trained, but quite friendly still. Parking is large and free. So if you’re after some tasty and inexpensive food - it’s really a good place to come with friends, kids or family - there’s a good bar like in a good pub as well and good choice of meals and drinks. All menus are downloadable from the website.
