Fantastic food, great price and super service. Two oldies and daughters enjoyed a good three hours eating and drinking. Thanks for a super afternoon.

The food is amazing, the staff are great and make sure you’re looked after. Lovely setting too. What’s not to like

Fantastic food, very friendly staff. Well worth a visit if you are in Hamble-le-Rice for anything. Cracking menu

My third visit here, the first being a group dinner in the private dining room upstairs. Very friendly service at all times. Historic location, good food and premium beers. Guests being served outside meant that the doors to the front bar were banging shut almost incessantly.

Lovely dog friendly pub and fantastic food. We'd been on a long walk by the sea with our Jack Russell and stopped here looking for something hot and tasty. Some of the best fish and chips I've had, perfect portion size and wonderful mushy peas! Will definitely come back.

We enjoyed a very enjoyable dinner on 6th Dec. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. Would recommend to anyone to book a table at the Bugle. Will definitely return, when next in the area.

A lot smaller than I last remember, apparently the rest was sold off to build new apartments. In a great location in Hamble village, right near the river, a wooden beamed ceiling giving it that cosy feeling. They have a car park but when it’s busy you can park in the centre of the village for a fee & walk down the quaint village lane to the pub. There is seating inside & outside. We had food here but the menu was limited at the time as only certain items were available.Usual pub prices, which isn’t exactly cheap, the burger I had was tasty but the the chips were rather hard & crispy.Still, I’d return, probably a lot better during the summer months.

Went for a birthday lunch, had booked but there were a few empty tables. Only a small outdoor seating area though so would recommend booking. Serving a limited menu at the moment, but lots of lovely options. Food was excellent quality. We shared the arancini and crab croquettes to start. I had the minute steak for main, was actually thicker than I’d have expected and still nice and pink in middle, served with yummy garlic butter. My mum had a salad bowl with lots of fresh flavours and my husband enjoyed his dish and chips. Recommend the elderflower gin cocktail too!

We treated ourselves to our first meal out at The Bugle after lockdown 2.0 and enjoyed 3 courses where every dish was stunning: from the white soy cured trout and celeriac starters and mains of seared duck breast and sea bream. Puddings of a warm chocolate brownie and passionfruit pannacotta topped off the evening. Made even better with warm service from the front of house team.Thank you to The Bugle team for a wonderful anniversary treat!

Cozy pub with an open fire in a very scenic location close to the water. Great drinks list and locally sourced food. Part of the Ideal Collection group so get a loyalty card if you eat/drink at any of them regularly - it's definitely worth it.
