Saw some live music here, it was very good. The bar itself is lovely, has an excellent smoking area and brilliant bar staff. Would rate 6 out of 5 if I could

Very nice pub has a good atmosphere and a lovely pint !!! I hadn't been to this pub much due to hearing that it was a little clicky but was very surprised to when the gardens opened for drinking it to be a nice welcoming place would highly recommend

I think I will be coming back after the support of all staff. Very friendly and kind. Helpful to know your understanding and always willing to stop and say hello to any new comers.

Thoroughly enjoy our trips to our local. Friendly and welcoming staff who are great with our 4 kids. Covid safe and good recommendations when you want to try something new

Has real potential to be a great venue, but doesn't quite cut it. It's a good place for the regular locals but as a local who wanted a change scene, it's not a very welcoming environment. I assume day of the week and time of day will play a part on this buuuut first impressions really weren't great. The thing that pushed me over the edge was the fruit flies (or bar flies), swarming around our table made the evening rather annoying instead of relaxing. Makes me think the place isn't very hygienic which is especially important at this current time. Other than that the interior is very modern and with some improvements it could definitely be a 5 star venue!

We popped in Sunday lunchtime for a quiet beer and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. The pub has just been done up, and although there is still the smell of paint, it looks fresh and neat.The pub has a good, varied menu at reasonable prices, as well as a children's menu. Whilst we didn't try the food, we saw the roasts and they looked tasty.Finally, there was cricket on the large-screen tv, so I am assuming they show Sky Sports. There also seems to be a specific viewing area, which is great. All in all, nice pub.

Normally a nice pub, reasonable prices. However it was a cold day and the heating wasn't on, so uncomfortable. Unfortunately on that day there was a very abusive person loudly using foul language, which curtailed my visit.

Unbelievable...a pub that can almost match Wetherspoon prices!!! I dropped in here while my glasses were being repaired. At first glance, this is a typical town's side street local. But the staff are instantly welcoming and friendly...and the locals...mostly builders and pensioners are totally acceptable of any outsiders.But apart from these qualities, the bright and airy interior and the overall ambiance...the one, ASTONISHING thing is that the prices here, are quite unbelievably cheap. My pint of Stella Artois came in at £3.15!!!As Arnie says...'I'll be back'.UPDATE. I notice a few negative comments about the car park. I parked here today...04/09/2017 and asked about parking regulations. I was assured that parking was free and available.You need to visit this pub...a proper, friendly local, great management/owners, staff and regulars.UPDATE II: As a disabled pensioner who struggles with mobility...I dropped in here for a rest and a cold pint. From entering I was treated to doors being held open, chairs being moved, even people offering me arms for support. I'm quite astonished by the comment regarding drugs in this venue. As an ex publican I can certainly state that the management here, are super determined to ensure that drugs are NOT readily available in this pub.I stand by my original post, this a great little pub, run by professional and welcoming owner's and staff. You'll be made most welcome.
