Lovely pub, great outdoor seating the menu is different well presented but slightly over priced starter's but they do offer small plates we went in afternoon but I would imagine with the outdoor lighting in the evening would give it a good experience

A while since I've been here, it looks like it's had a total refurb. Looks really good indoors with loads of outdoor space for when the weather turns warmer. Food was great, sea bream on tomato infused linguine I doubt could be bettered anywhere, and reasonably priced. Will be back.

Excellent service right from the phone call to book. Our roast dinners all piping hot, sounds simple but have been places where half the plate is hot half cold. Really tasty food. Will definitely be back.

I booked for 2 people in advance. My guest is a real ale buff, so we were disappointed to be told on arrival none was available due to uncertainty about covid opening. Food and service was good, but maybe inform customers of problems before arrival?

Nice pub with a great atmosphere and lovely setting. Lovely to have some vegan options especially for dessert. Would be even more improved if they had some better vegan main courses for example vegan burger and chips rather than just risotto which is quite boring and safe. Also my family had to keep their coats on yesterday as it just wasn't warm enough inside.

Lovely pub. Menu is good with a decent range and prices are very reasonable. Staff very nice too.

Tasty heartwarming food, and pleasant welcoming staff.Even though we (parents +3 hungry kids) arrived slightly late and when they almost closed the kitchen, they were kind enough to find a table for us and serve a delicious meal.We would definitely come again!

This really is a nice pub in a lovely location. Today no eating inside the pub, but outdoor eating area set up is really good, you wont get wet or cold. . Food is good too and staff were very efficient and pleasant. I had mushroom risotto, good portion size and my friend had baked cod. Sorry no food pics, always forget to do this. There is an outdoor bar and again a really good set up. Just a hop skip jump there is a National Trust walk along the river, dog friendly and also in pub. . I saw people rock up in a small boat, and a dinghy for a drink, what a lovely way to arrive at a pub. Enjoy xx

Lovely food and very nice staff. They are really kind here and very dog friendly which was great. The food was very tasty, it took a while to come out but was lovely when it did so worth the wait. The deserts were delicious as well!

Lovely venue very friendly staff but waited about an hour for our food, would have liked it to have turned up a little quicker, staff did take the time to apologise. When the food arrived it was lovely a little over priced. Nice venue to catch up with friends a number of people arriving by kyack. They have made a nice outside, undercover and nearest setting area. Would possibly go back.
