⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Visited a couple of weekends back. What an absolute gem of a pub!🐕 friendly, which is always a bonus.Amazing, fresh, tasty food. Their roasts 🥕🥔 🥦 are epic, and the pie 🥧 was incredible. Puddings were fab also.🍰🍨Fantastic local cask ales too 🍺 🍺Staff are really nice and friendly. Will visit here again for sure.

What a great place, with even greater staff. We visited on a Sunday with no booking, explained our daughters disabilities and were welcomed in. The food was great, we were very happy with everything we ordered and the cost. The staff are what made it for us overall. Very thoughtful and attentive to everything and everyone not just us. Highly recommend a visit.

We have been there today for my birthday meal and I'm so disappointed. The mulled wine I ordered I wasn't not able to drink extremely sweet and taste horrible. my chicken and bacon salad was the worst I ever had... my husband orders medium well done steak and got very dry and burned piece of meat. for this prices quality and taste of food are very poor. I feel so sad that I choose this place for my birthday meal. it was my last time there. not recommended.

Lovely little place in perfect location, currently still doing table service only but this is not as issue. Waiting staff are friendly. Garden in very pretty. Food was delicious, not the cheapest but great food in a prime location price is expected

Outstanding service and food. Freshly cooked haddock and chips, lightly battered with home made mashed peas. Local ale from the Flower Pot Brewery, Cheriton.

We visited the pub on steak night. During outside serving only. Steak was well cooked to medium/rare as per order. Covid compliance was excellent with good practice and vigorous cleaning once people have left. Good service and helpful staff. Will happily go back again.

2nd time after a lot of years, can say that I m very happy and pleasantly surprised from the decoration, so cozy, so warm and traditional elements all over the place add to the old time classic, rustic atmosphere. Absolutely loved it. What to say about the food, tried the tuna melt toasted sandwich and the chicken pesto with a small bucket of fries and it was tasty, delicious, full of flavour the pesto was freshly made the cheese was melted enough to feel the smoothness and the bread slices cut from a loaf were crunchy. Bit of salad by the side tomato, cucumber and green leaves. Highly recommend. And the walk down the morrow streets reminded me of a walk in a small island . Well done

The pub is really busy as you walk in, dodging the smokers and drinkers...but go to the back room and it's a beautifully decorated shabby chick room! Staff are absolutely lovely and friendly. Food was very good and very well priced. Best fish and chips I've had, it was light and flaky, not oily. Yumm!!!
