Very helpful staff. Clean store. But not a very good selection. selection. It's OK to pick up a few items. But too expensive to do a full shop.

·

Always clean and plenty of stock, staff very helpful and lot's of products for all budgets

We dropped in to The Kitchen for a quick breakfast of coffee and croissants and were not disappointed by the quality of food and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. My only complaint is the temperature in the cafe - probably around 15/16°C. Brrrrr! This is not the first time we have experienced it so cold here - it's the reason we stopped coming here regularly.

Good sized shop , unfortunately got there late on the day and most of the fresh stuff gone . Managed to check out the cafe ( the kitchen)

Lots of empty shelves, think we're going to have to get used to this. Yet again no coffee that's on my My Waitrose offer! Nice wine tasting!

I’ve just arrived back home from shopping at my local Waitrose and I’m really upset if I’m honest. I have been followed around the store by not one but two security personnel! They made it quite apparent by trying to make eye contact and both passing me by in every isle I walked. I felt intimidated and embarrassed because it looked to me as though the staff around me and customers saw this also. I’ve injured my leg so decided to lean against a trolley and slowly walk around the isles to do my shopping. I’m a man in his 30s, I own a Business locally. I’m grasping for reasons why I would be treated like I was stealing. It’s outrageous as I would never dream of this. I’m not retired so perhaps not your average demographic of customer. However, I find this treatment to be totally out of order. By the time I had got to the till to pay for my shopping, the security guard stood with his arms crossed staring at me whilst I packed and paid for my shopping. By this point I was very upset about how all this had made me feel. On my way out of the store I asked the customer service staff what there names were. (Steve) & (Toby). Toby was the one who stood and watched me whilst I paid for my shopping. I shop frequently at Waitrose in Romsey and John Lewis in Southampton and I haven’t had this issue in those stores before. However, this isn’t the first time I’ve had poor or rude service in this store. I’m pretty discouraged , embarrassed, disappointed and quite frankly upset. I will never be stepping foot in that store again and I will be rethinking the great customer service experience that I thought your brand had.

Shame on you Waitrose. Young lady Big Issue seller standing NO WHERE NEAR your store entrance and doing no harm other than trying to make ends meet and a middle aged male grey haired member of staff seems to be hassling her to move. Sure at Easter - time of forgiveness - would have been better to give her some help. Lost my custom.

Quintessentially the Waitrose experience - ample parking, courteous and helpful staff, wide aisles, lovely array. Simply enjoyed. If only we could convince them to reduce their prices a touch, we would guarantee we wouldn't shop elsewhere again. Nothing to fault here.

Good selection, some items are pricey, but if you have a look around there are some bargains too. Have found the self life on the fresh veg is poor and go off very quickly, as for the meat products, my family like them. Food bought here doesn't go to waste in our house as its consumed quickly. There wasn't much to choose in the veg section as the buckets were empty. So had to go somewhere else to shop for veg.

Waitrose was reasonably busy when we arrived today. The fish counter was closed due to an measures beyond Waitrose control. One thing İ have noticed is that there seems to be more gaps on the shelves than usual. Maybe the lack of lorry drivers is taking its toll on supplies. But everything we wanted was there. The staff as usual were working hard to replenish supplies and the store always looks clean and we'll maintained. İt will be even better once the cafe opens again. Waitrose always gets blamed for high prices, and you do pay more for quality, but there are some reasonable prices around the store. We were happy with the prices and items that we bought. Being a Waitrose card holder İ also got a free Sunday paper. That is appreciated. All in all a store İ will return to again.
