I used to love Yo Sushi. Food way over priced now. Yet lower quality. Sashimi looked like it was cut with a bread knife. Food looked nothing like the picture, when asked I was told āMacdonalds doesnāt look like itās picturesā then told can return and remake, but can not guarantee the quality as its busy!

This place has some really expensive sushi that was mediocre at best (and this is coming from a Norwegian who is used to insane prices). The amount of food you get for the money is very disappointing, we all left hungry after spending 20Ā£ each. The food also took so long to arrive we actually forgot what we ordered by the time it arrived on the belt. They might consider renaming to NO! Sushi, considering the last part of my order never arrived and after a looong time I had to ask them and turns out it had never been made. Everyone else had finished long ago by then and since I didn't want to wait even longer for 4 pieces of sushi I ended up asking for those to be refunded, which they did after some back and forth. Honestly I'm surprised they didn't offer a refund in the first place considering how long I waited for nothing. On the bright side, the fries were good! Not good enough to bring up the rating though.

I used to be a fan of this place, but theyāve gone downhill. The menu is worse than ever. The Food was cold, slimy and sloppy. The sushi was mushy and tasteless, didnāt taste fresh. The katsu was Luke warm and soggy. Only decent thing was the dumplings, which are the same as the ones you get frozen in the shop. Service not bad but not great.Overall, based on the food, I will never go to yo sushi again.

I really don't like the new system. Food is served via the belt only if you ordered it on your phone and pay in advanced. You need an iphone that has 4G to scan barcodes and order food at your table. I tried to scan with my google pixel xl and Samsung phone, both unable to scan it. Took me ages to figure out how to do it and gave up as I couldn't get 4G or wifi to work. Then I asked for help and realized that I could order from the staff but it was so inconvenient as the menu has lengthy descriptions and barely any photos of food. You could no longer pick any food that travel on the belt, unless it was your order, and you must pay each of your little plates in advanced. If you have an iphone that scans barcode and 4G to work then you probably won't go through the hassled that I went through. This system would probably work better on an APP as not all phones could scan barcodes and a menu that is clearly illustrated (with pictures).

Nothing special. Found dishes smaller than looks on photo... so makes it expensive. Food arrived all at different times.. had one dish then 10 min wait for next . Then had to wait for next one. only ordered 4 dishes. Had no squid in our seafood thing. Overall expensive for what we had and left hungry.

Shame that this is becoming āthe usualā for Yo!⦠however, the belt was brokenā¦againā¦and they had a water leak which shut 2/3 of the tables. But hey, just āthe usualā for Yo!Things that were particularly disappointing with this visit, in addition to the above;- seated at the end of the broken belt, felt like we were sat in the employee break room. Heard that one of the bloke who works there had a mate who had a stroke yesterday, he loves steamed rice and lots of other personal guff. Sad his mates not well, but donāt want to know.- restaurant messy. Staffs personal effects scattered everywhere, bags, coats and lunch. Seems like they all went for a MuckDo today.- lack of care and attention - all the food slapped on a plate, falling to pieces or falling over the edge of the plate. Service was sad to boot.Iāll stop now - but, itās a sad state of affairs. No longer an experience to go there. I always knew the food was never āthe bestā or āauthenticā but was always good fun and value.Such a shame. Staff and lack of maintenance letting Yo! down.Given up now.

The vegan food was really good and healthy. Helpful staff. Definitely will eat here again.

Great staff and great food. This was our first time trying yo sushi, the service speed is insane, they have a conveyer belt set up that brings the food direct to your table. There are plenty of staff in the kitchen and on cleanup, they are easily reachable if you need assistance. We ordered through the app and found it very easy and straight forward.Felt a little strange ordering fries at a sushi place.. But they were insane! There is some kind of sauce they put in the fries that tastes amazing! Def reccomend it!Went 2 days in a row because it was such a nice place! Didn't book either time, but if you're thinking of going on a weekend I'd reccomend to book. (you have to book at least 24 hours in advanced)

Love this place the food is amazing, when we've been the wheelchair space is usually empty so no waiting time. You can't book a table it's line up and wait. The food is gorgouse, so tasty my favourite would have to be the Crunchy California Roll š. Been many times and usually it's the same staff we meet each time, cheerful and happy, there always willing to help if you don't understand or need to order somthing new.The way the food is made can be a bit difficult to reach from your wheelchair as it's to high and to far away, I would love to be able to grab the food myself.Toilets are the main west quay ones, so no problem there as long as no line.

Went for a birthday lunch - the COVID19 arrangements were explained and the ordering process and paying on-line was easy to use and worked well. The light system showing when our food was ready was a bit hit and miss, but didn't detract from the meal. Food was hot, enjoyable (depending on your tastes of course!)... personally the korean Street chicken is a winnerš
