Excellent foodHad the chicken shawarma..the best shawarma tasted till date. Full of flavour and very generous quantity. Very tastyBeef burger with cheese was awesome. All those branded McD and Burger kings are no where close to what they make. Very niceAli's chicken tandoori is very niceLooking forward to the next visit. Will try something more.

I'm sorry but the customer service is something they need to take very seriously, they need to learn the manners and curtsey for the customer, the one with glasses needs to learn how to serve customers... Either he is too young or doesn't bother the importance of it.... the only person who is right there and gives smile is the lady who makes fries... Trust me I gave them the benefit of doubt thinking busy time maybe getting on them but last two times I visited they were fairly quite and still appalling service,.... Its a genuine and serious comment please take it as constructive criticism... Food is OK. Mostly nice food but last time my chicken was under done....

Was around the area for work purpose and stopped by to grab some munch, noticed it was quite busy so it must explain that the business is doing somthing right, food was good, and the fact that they’re doing their best shows a lot, some of the reviews seem little too much, as I have got awful service from McDonald’s/KFC half of the time but I don’t bother posting reviews but we are quite harsh if we don’t get offered a free dip, lolWill surely be back if I’m in townManny

I wish Google did 0 star reviews. They are so rude and vile to their customers especially if you just politely query something. I would rather travel the extra distance to Esher or even Weybridge rather than give these animals my money. Loutish oafs.

Our family are big fans of Ali's Grill - we remember when it opened and have loved it for years. The food is yummy, there are plenty of fresh vegetables in the salad and the staff there are really friendly and respectful. They always make an effort to ensure we have the food we want and apologise if they have run out of something. I really recommend them. I also really recommend reading their responses to their negative reviews if you want a laugh - we wondered why there were any negative reviews because we've never had a bad experience with them, but reading their responses, it sounds like others haven't had a bad experience with Ali's Grill, but with their own attitude. Peace and love to you guys - you're the best!

I love Ali's Grill. I lived in New Zealand for 3.5 years and, on return to Cobham, one of the main things I was looking forward was an Ali's Grill Chicken Shawarma on chips with hummus and salad - it's da bomb.

Amazing food, and quality service. It’s refreshing to visit somewhere where the staff care so much about their food! Falafels are homemade and some of the best I’ve had!Keep up the good work!!

I was a customer in this takeaway shop one evening recently who witnessed an appalling thing to another customer. As a female I was quite distressed by it so felt the need to create a Google account and write this. A man placed an order and they missed off part of it. He then asked them to keep the food that they already prepared for him warm whilst cooking what they forgot to make. He asked nicely but one of the men behind the counter was very sarcastic asking him if he wanted to put it in the oven. It was a silly thing really but the fellow customer replied saying there’s no need to be sarcastic and an apology for forgetting the full order would have been nice! Fair enough I thought. Then another staff member told him to leave as they don’t need or want his custom. Does this kind of 80s barbaric customer service still exist? I have been there twice and granted, the food is tasty but I did notice on this occasion filthy finger nails from the man with glasses. Plus their rude treatment of the other customer was appalling. I certainly won’t be revisiting. The sarcastic man (chubby, full of himself with a cap) then proceeded to showing off in his Rolls Royce, sorry Volkswagen, outside but revving the engine and playing loud music. This is not what one would expect from an area like Cobham. Trashy service in a lovely area.Following on from my review, I expected a response of this manner from such individuals - who wouldn’t? Funnily enough I don’t drive but you saw me drive off in a Kia and I am male pretending to be female- how comical. I live less than a 3 walk from this establishment and if I did drive it wouldn’t be a Kia or a Volkswagen, so no I don’t regret not hearing the noise from your engine. It just amused me that he seemed to care more about his car than customers! Isn’t it a shame that folk react so aggressively when one is simply pointing out facts.

Most disrespectful staff ever. They don't even say hello when I come in the shop. Gets mad because I showed him my order number. Says he doesn't have to respect me since I'm not a customer. Rasist.REPLY:First of all since you don't know it, it's complete legal to share a deliveroo account. Secondly, the account is mine. Finally, instead of apologising or denying what I'm saying you just reply with a theat and just being ironic.Thats all I wanted. Your customers to know what kind of people they are giving their money to. Pathetic.
