From the first moment you step in this place the personel give you an enjoyable feeling. Very hospitable stuff, it is a friendly restaurant to enjoy with buddies or with your date. Excellent food, creative chef de cuisine, modest cost and excellent service. Highly recommended.

First and last time I will go. £17 for two cod and chips and peas . Very poor quality cod and way too small for the price. Peas watery. Lady serving was quite abrupt . Not sure what they fry in the batter tasted oily.

Very friendly: they had not picked up my order left on voicemail earlier but we had excellent fresh haddock and lashings of chips prepared fresh very quickly. Food great. Minor issues were to do with checking voicemail orders and cash payments only - who doesn't use contactless card these days?

V good fish and chips etc, although sometimes it can be a bit of a wait. At least it means the food is v freshly cooked. Better to phone in advance.

Working away from home and fancied F&C’s. Ordered the Haddock so had to wait. Disappointed with quality of meal. I don’t expect to have to spit fish bones out. Nothing to shout about. If you want to taste the best ever visit Georges Fish Bar, Dudley Fields in the West Midlands....live and learn.
