I visited Cuvée in Esher last night with my friend and ….…. We are very disappointed of the standard ….A lot of young people (around 18) with super casual perfect for the gym outfit.Poor service….. far for this how it was a few years ago .

Very surprised in this occasion.I have been to cuvee many times so I was very surprised when me and some friends went this Friday evening. It was full of very young (18 ) people and dressed super casual ( one person in sports shorts and sliders and socks on....)Seems to be dropping standards

Lovely spot with an interesting cocktail selection, attentive staff and a delicious menu. It was very quiet when we went (at 9pm on a Thursday), in fact we were the only ones in for at least an hour - but that meant we got extra good service!

My friends and I visited cuVee VIII last week for a spot of lunch. We thought as the eat-out-to-help-out scheme was still on we'd test something a little fancier than our typical high street restaurant chain. Best decision ever. Adrian and another lovely waitress seated my friends until I arrived, and accommodated us inside as a few people outdoors started smoking on their terrace. The decor in each space is beautiful! They have 2 bars, one closer to the terrace, and one in front of the entrance nearer the dining area - you can eat in both spaces - and each area feels like a different experience. They even showed us the private room for hire upstairs which also has a bar and stunning space. The terrace/outdoor space was beautiful, I would have loved to enjoy it more, however, they allow smoking (a downside for me, unfortunately) it's still quite enclosed so it doesn't feel like the smoke is escaping. nonetheless, this doesn't take away from the beauty of this area, in cooler climates I can see they've heaters outside to warm it up a little. This part attaches to a bar area that looks like a swanky night club. Next time I visit, I think I'll sit in the dining space as it'll be colder outside. Very exciting as they're still taking part in the scheme in September. I had the lobster mac n cheese, and my friends had the prawn pizza and veggie burger... the chef is brilliant!!! We later learned he was a Michelin star chef that'd had briefly appeared on Masterchef. The barmaid, produced a lovely mocktail for me, as I do not drink, and my friend's cocktails were INCREDIBLE according to them. This is a legitimate cocktail bar, with bar staff who really know what they're doing, our drinks were a work of art. I would give the staff, service, decor, food, cleanliness and chef 5 stars. I thoroughly enjoyed this treat and will be back, It's reassuring to see them regularly cleaning all surfaces, the floor, and wearing masks, the toilets we also very clean which is usually quite rare.

Just home from a lovely afternoon with my daughter & friend at this super wine bar / restaurant! What a beautiful place we couldn't fault anything. Staff, food, cocktails 5* decor gorgeous (some of it stunning) no expense spared! Chilled ambience, fab music, garden area posh the Moet Chandon cushions, parasol, mirrors, foliage make you feel like being on holiday especially with a cocktail!! Thankyou to Adrian & colleagues for a super bank holiday Monday. We look forward to returning soon Donna, Chloe & Aylia xXx

We had originally booked to dine here for a friend’s 30th on Saturday 17th but due to restrictions we changed it to the Friday which they kindly accommodated at short notice. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere wasn’t bad - music too loud for dinner and the smell of cigarette smoke as you walk to the bathrooms was quite overpowering. I couldn’t quite make out if the place was trying to be a nice restaurant or a club. The drinks were really good, one of us had an amazing gin cocktail. We had our starters which were good, the truffle butter was lovely, but unfortunately our mains never arrived. As we’d been talking away we didn’t realise the time was 9:30pm before we looked around and realised tables that had arrived after us had had their dinner and the place was clearing out.Clearly something happened with our order, but I’m disappointed that no one came to apologise or explain this to us whilst we sat there 2 hours - when we did ask one of the waiters about it she just said “it’s on it’s way” but she couldn’t give us a time or explanation... and as the place was closing at 10pm we unfortunately left hungry and without dinner.I regrettably give this rating as I was really hoping for it to be a good local having moved to Esher recently...Perhaps they are just trying too hard to be too many things.

I tested the White Lady cocktail, which the bar manager made especially for us and it was just perfect. We had one of the best risottos I have ever had. The staff were as always very on their marks. The menu for me could have more varied choices though. Will revisit soon. Mette Norup

Celebrated my birthday at Cuvee on Saturday night. We had dinner at the restaurant first which was excellent. There was a large group of us so we pre-ordered a set menu which had a great selection and was really good value. The service was brilliant and the waiting staff were very attentive. We then went next door to the bar which was so much fun! It had a great atmosphere and played a variety of music so good for everyone in the group. Recommend for a night out and will be visiting again. Thank you for a fun birthday!

Great food, would recommend visiting when there are plenty of people in there (visited on a Tuesday) as otherwise it can feel a bit soulless. The chef came out and greeted everyone and talked about the menu and upcoming menus which was a great touch.Great for a lively Friday / Saturday night drink.

Just OK! Barman was reluctant to change the barrel when the peroni ran out and charging £6.45 a pint for the privilege!
