Giraffe in Elmbridge

Excellent breakfast whilst waiting for our flight to board.Have eaten at Giraffe several times, usually in Kings Cross, but was happy to see one in Heathrow.Had a lovely , reasonably priced, fresh and tasty breakfast. Mine was smoked salmon and sourdough. My partner ordered eggs with ham and both dishes were amazing. Service was efficient and friendly, even though it was very busy.Very recommended for value and freshness out of all the cafes on offer in terminal 5

I had a great experience here. We ordered and got our food in under 10 minutes and were very pleased by that. As far as airport food goes, it passes the standards for both being healthy, fun themed, and decent taste. We had a long layover the chairs were comfortable, so we sat with some tea for an hour after eating and were not rushed. We were also able to get the bill quickly when we were ready to leave. Healthy food (not greasy), good service, cute decorated space, solid 4 stars.

Food is what you’d expect. Just wanted to make a note about table service. We were queued up before the restaurant opened (about 5:00am) with about 40 other patrons. We were 2nd in line but we were one of the last served. Took over an hour to have a simple breakfast, not including the wait time in the queue. Not great if you have a plane to catch and queued up early just see 30 other people around you eating their meal when you went through the door before them. The restaurant should probably think about putting a system in place to circumvent this in the future. Otherwise fine.

Table 9: I place my order at 2:30 Pm. I noticed I had no fork, so I asked for one. I asked for a fork and Knife, sugar, and milk for my coffee. The the waiter never returned after placing the food on my table and running off. It is now 3:06 PM. I’m currently eating a full expensive cold breakfast with a teaspoon. Do not patronize this place. Go to McDonald’s or the nearest food vending machine. You’ll receive much better service than this miserable place.

Had the Giraffe hash which was not bad at all. For eggs Benedict they have a chilly hollandaise which makes it a bit different. Busy restaurant with queues before being seated so do allow time to wait for service and food. There isn't much choice at Terminal 5, Giraffe is not a bad option.

Restaurant was very busy but we didn’t wait that much for our food…fish and chips was really tasty, our waitress was super fast and helpful.

Very friendly staff, quick and efficient service and really nice breakfast. Whenever I've been there no staff member just stands around, they are constantly rushing to get food out and customers served as quickly as possible. My waitress Jurgita was very attentive without being intrusive. Great experience altogether.

The food was not brilliant but the staff was absolutely amazing. They really made my day. I will definitely come back. Thank you.

Went here today and had breakfast. Very nice staff and the edamame were yumm too. Would give four stars if it wasn’t for the tragedy that was: my nutella banana pancakes. Please see the picture and tell me that’s not the most pathetic amount of nutella you’ve ever seen! Very dry experience :( Luckily I got to pay for one of those teeny tiny plastic nutellas that they serve at hotels for a solid pound! 0/10 would not recommend the pancakes.

I was waiting for my next flight and was super hungry! I've always wanted to try an authentic English breakfast and found Giraffe. The reviews looked terrible! Only 2.9 out of 5 stars! I took a chance and was not disappointed! The food was great! Check out my picture! I paid 11.95 euros! Not a bad price for airport food!
