What a pleasure it was to dine here. The staff are attentive and friendly, the owner, "JP", makes an excellent dirty Martini and his bar sports a selection of over 200 rums. The menu looked somewhat limited at first but then the waitress reeled off a large selection of special dishes, not listed on the menu; I was spoilt for choice but the description of the roast Turbot on black pasta caused me to salivate so I had that, it was delicious and an excellent choice.Desert was also very special, we couldn't decide what to have so the waitress decided for us; a sampler board of all the deserts. An expresso and a tot of Peruvian rum would normally be the perfect end to a perfect meal but JP went one step further.During our conversation he let slip that he blended his own rum; everyone needed a hobby during COVID lockdown. He gave me a generous snifter and the layered flavour of his blend almost made me weep with joy. That experience was the perfect end to the evening, I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Food was delicious, garlic snails was lovely and out of the shell. The wait was more than 30 mins due to chef cooking fresh.

When a owner puts so much passion into it. And you can feel it as much as there. It is always a good place to go to. The carte menu is noce but conservative. Don’t hesitate to ask for today special. You will often get things that might never be available ever again. Trust your senses and let it go. The journey is worth it. I would say the place will probably fit the best to couple as it is really cosy and welcoming. If you bring your date here you will leave a long lasting effect. If you go out with your mates - they will like you forever for it.

A very romantic and charming French bistro with great food. Service was impeccable and the owner was a delight. Would recommend all the dishes we had (see photos). The chef also made an appearance to see how we were getting on was a nice surprise. Menu appears to change and they have lots of different specials which is what's most popular with locals.

Booked for Sunday lunch as an end of half-term treat, and it certainly was! Covid-19 measures were firmly in place so we could relax and enjoy a delicious meal, well-cooked and immaculately presented. Service was friendly and efficient. Will be looking out for their lockdown takeaway meals.

This family-run restaurant serves hearty French favourites in an unpretentious setting. We were particularly impressed by the breadth of specials available during our visit.

We loved this restaurant. It has an old school French menu with lovely staff and a fantastic atmosphere. On the evening we visited they even had a traditional French accordion player. It felt just like being in France.
