Visited this pub yesterday with family, had food and a friend joined us too. The staff are great and attentive and nothing was to much trouble for them. We decided we had such a great time that we have visited again today. Food was still great and the staff again were brilliant. Food is pub grub but at a great price and good quality products. We will definitely be regulars here at this pub. Already booked a table for next week

Had a lovely dinner at the Marquis last weekend. Food was delicious and staff were great. Will definitely be returning.

Well this pub we use for our monthly Classic Car meet. I can't get down to it that often as I'm way up in Manchester.But when I do get to see the group it makes a nice change and a catch up on what's going on.The pub has a large carpark which is ideal for the meetings.As we normally only get drinks, but there is food available to and we have had food on occasions if we've been running late.That have a good menu to choose from and have been very happy what has been served.

Friendly and cozy ambience, nicely kept beer and wine - my IPA was spot on and was offered three choices of the Rose wine I ordered for my friend. Good food, hades hot and well priced. Good lunch experience and would return

We waited an hour for the food, despite the pub being almost empty when we ordered. When it finally arrived, the kids meals were cold. The garlic bread for the adult main only arrived as the main was being finished. We left before the kids desserts we'd already paid for - it was already past their bedtime by then. They only have one front of house staff member, who has to literally run around the pub to serve folks.

We had a very relaxed meal, we were not rushed, the waitress was very pleasant and patient with our grandaughter. The Sunday lunch was very good, well presented and a reasonable price. The vegetables were perfect.Staff very attentive without being intrusive.We will certainly return..

Once again my friends and I have have enjoyed a lovely meal served us by Becci. As usual we were the first there and as usual we were welcomed warmly. Our meal was delicious and the service prompt. Everything was fresly cooked and we enjoyed a couple of very relaxed hours. Always plenty of parking space and well worth a visit if you like a quiet pub to enjoy your food 😊

Staff were friendly, polite and really professional considering the pub was understaffed. We did wait a bit for our meal but it was well worth the wait. Good value for money too.Good vegetarian roast. Limited menu available due to COVID-19 restrictions.Ensure to prebook your table beforehand.
