Really enjoyed our visit this afternoon. Food was lovely and arrived very quickly. A party of 3 we all ordered different meals and there were no complaints from any of us. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Really looking forward to coming back again.

Food not bad, my drink arrived in a glass covered with lipstick, not mine I took it back they apologised, sat at our table and a family with a dog came and sat next to us who decided to pee on the floor the family obviously thought ok as did nothing so we ate with the lovely smell of that. No problem with dogs being there but if you do take one in at least clean up after it don’t just ek away. Ordered coffee and a mini dessert, coffee not what I ordered and the dessert was definitely mini ( one bite) I mentioned the coffee was wrong as I did not drink it they took this off the bill. In a hurry to leave we paid and left. Having checked the bill we paid for onion rings we had not ordered 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️Should have checked first. The couple next to us had their main meal delivered before their starter. They were not that busy so no real reason for all these issues. Not the best night out.

Prices, fantastic. Food, good. This would be 5 stars if the wait time had not been over an hour for food. We were made aware of the wait, but you never expect a restaurant to actually take that long. Normally they say ‘an hour’ and it comes after 30 minutes.Update - we returned because the location is great for where we go.What a change. We were told the service would be slow and we thought ‘here we go again’ but instead, super fast, super attentive and all round spectacular service. Will be returning, just keep this up.

Lovely place, pop over with friends for a drink week ago. Been served by lovely landlady and tall gentlemen. Food tasty, drinks yummy. My dog loved steak and snacks. We will be back for sure.

Came over with friend, we were sat on round table in bay window. We had very nice fish and chips a long side of sweet potato koftas starter. Both dishes were very nice. Had a pleasant conversation with Polish lady with glasses. Very enjoyable experience

Lovely pub! Nice and clean with a great garden at the back. Dog friendly. Big selection on the menu with veggie and vegan options and all reasonably priced. Staff were really friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a wait for food, but of course as it was a busy lunch time for them. Will definitely stop by again after a walk on Esher Common.I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews - it's certainly not a shabby pub and of course you have to wait for service, especially if you go at busy lunch/dinner times - Macdonald's serves fast food if that is what you are looking for...

Went for lunch on Saturday, the service was really slow and we waited over an hour for our lunch. The risotto was not good, the prawns and scallops were cold and the peas an afterthought in the rice. The scampi was good. The saving grace is the brilliant dog facilities so we will likely give the pub another chance.

I used to come here when it was independently owned. Back then the food was truly incredible. It went through a bad patch, but the menu seems to be on the way up again now. A few more veggie options would be appreciated, and a bit more flavour. My fried halloumi just tasted of oil, sadly. Tap options are rather limited at the time of writing. The place as a whole is very clean, bright and pleasant, and I cannot fault the bar staff - wish we'd tipped them better!

Just passing today but we tried our luck for lunch, it was very busy but luckily we got a table. Had a huge Sunday lunch which was very reasonably priced, it's a lovely pub and surroundings. Our server Todd was great & couldn't do enough for us. Another pub we'll definitely be coming back to.
