Squires Tea Shop in Elmbridge

We waited in the queue patiently with my elderly mother for breakfast and the lady organising seating let her sit in a chair and was so polite and kind but then when we got our table another lady probably in her fifties took our order. Quite some time later 3 breakfasts turned up minus our mum's and no drinks, no marmalade either. We mentioned this to the waitress who seemed to be in charge but we had finished our breakfast minus the marmalade when finally our mum got hers and the drinks arrived. Terrible service and no smile or apologies.

Fabulous garden centre, plants looked well watered and healthy. Had a very nice lunch in restaurant and enjoyed looking around the very varied stock in the shop.

Used the restaurant here waited half hour to be served after people that came in after us, I ordered a cream tea they brought the tea and no scone! Had to wait another 10 minutes for them to being the scone. The tea was cold by this point Poor service wouldn't recommend. The fadden centre itself is lovely shame there no customs service in the restaurant

I had a wonderful couple of hours with my daughter of 24yrs. Lots of lovely things to look at inside. Then outside was just fantastic. The plants were all healthy and fresh and the hidden plastic jungle animals were so very exciting and imaginative.Finish with tea and cake. Magic

Go there every Wednesday for lunch. Friendly staff, nice goods. Particularly like the hobby section as am a great knitter. Well worth a visit.

Wow! We had a great morning here. Breakfast was popular and the provision of gluten free scones was much appreciated. We spent too much in the garden centre but the plants and pots were of high quality and hence felt to be good value. Well done!

Strangely we went for a coffee and cake but they shut the café from 11 till 12 noon to prepare for lunch something other Squires locations do not. The menu included vegan, gluten free and meat choices with some nice sounding food. I chose the Chicken Caesar Salad with a Pironi beer and my wife had the steak burger and a Latte. The salad was excellent and the burger so large my wife could not eat all of it, we waited less than 10minutes for the food and 5 minutes for the drinks. The service was very good even though a notice at the café entrance warned that they were short staffed.After lunch we browsed the shop that was just switching over from Christmas to spring stock but still managed to find what we wanted. So all in all ideal for a daytime coffee and cake or an interesting lunch at reasonable prices

Lovely place with so many wonderful things. Lots of inspiring ideas for home and garden. Can get very busy, especially the coffee shop. Expect queues to be seated and at check out.

My local garden centre, never had a bad experience here. Staff are always lovely. Cafe area always spotless/clean the two managers are amazing and lovely and friendly. Need to go back soon and try their new menu, already had a sneak peak of it before it came out.

A very large collection of shurbs, vegetable plants, border plants, trees. Worth visiting the centre, tucked away in country side. Loved the large number of water falls. They are beautiful and rare. Staffs helpful and polite. Will go for extra for you. I give this garden centre a big thumbs up.
