The Averna Restaurant in Elmbridge

Very lovely restaurant. Food was very good and I even tasted how fresh the pepperoni was on the pizza. Absolutely fantastic meal.The waiter was very friendly and courteous. Very approachable.Had to compliment them after.

Nice place for Al Fresco Lunch and Dinner. With good weather, of course.

Spent new year eve there. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Given a drink to have at midnight and we all went outside for fire works which were very good. Everyone had a large sparkler. Nice touch made the eve. Good food.

Whether eating in (permitted) or getting the food delivered, the whole experience is always unique, yet consistently good, evocative of original Italian meals but with Averna’s personal flair. Just bounced a seafood pizza and seafood risotto with my partner. Top drawer! Get a bottle of Red and add a large prawn or 2:)

Absolutely brilliant staff, attentive and really cared about you. The food was amazing specifically the lasagna classica was the best I've ever had. Deserts were good to, tried the tiramisu, banoffee pie and sorbet.

The Chicken Alfredo was good but the green beans were undercooked imo.Cheesecake was not as I expected it was light and fluffy, the service was great and the waiters very pleasant, good atmosphere for families.

Lovely food and very attentive and helpful staff. The calzone was made as vegetarian for us, even though this wasn't on the menu and when they arrived they were HUGE! A little girl on another table said they looked like turtles on our plates! Very tasty and followed by creme brulee which was creamy with a lovely crisp, crunchy topping.
