The Emperor in Elmbridge

Outstanding. Exceptional. Out of this world. Honestly my absolute favourite restaurant to order from. The Ribs are 10/10, crispy beef 10/10, duck 10/10, if they sell it, its 10/10.

Service was not great here and the staff are not very pleasant but the food is good although the portion sizes aren't very generous.

I absolutely loved the food here. Staff polite and masked up, service fast. Was given snakes while I waited. Ribs were taken off the bone. I'm beyond impressed 👏🏾. Also very clean.

Whoever the chef is on Friday nights for the last few weeks is incredible! Second Friday night take away ordered within a few weeks and both have been 10/10

Amazing customer service, 14 of us came for my birthday meal last night and the man serving us was great. Advised us on what to order and just made the whole evening so pleasant. Very good with my friend who had a peanut allergy. Thanks for such a fun evening, the food was also great

Nice restaurant good food , manager owner very friendly. However did not appreciate the waiter telling me I ordered too much food and creating waste. Paying 120 for a buffet meal and having a few leftovers is acceptable to me.

Discovered The Emperor during lockdown. I searched Google for Chinese restaurants near me, that were open for takeaway/deliveries. The delivery arrived still as hot as if it had just left the kitchen, I live approx 10 mins from Hersham. It literally was the best Chinese takeaway I'd had. Quality of food, portion size it was brilliant. When all the restaurants opened again after lockdown we decided to eat in. We were not disappointed. The decor is lovely, staff very attentive and the food was even better than before. Think we've tried half of the menu 😋

Really disappointing experience last night with the manager, the food was fine and service was good. The manager came over to ask what car I was driving and if I was parked outside which I was and advised me to move the car as someone had got a ticket previously, I thanked him and moved my car. Then the bill comes over and 15% has been added on for something... as their service was good we didn't question and went to pay... he asked how i wanted to split the bill i said half each... he then rounded the bill up by a further 10p each. When I asked why he had rounded it up he laughed and said 'it's my tip' I said but you have already taken 15% tip and he said ' you have lots of money and I just saved you from £65 parking fine' and continued to take the payment. I think it's really cheeky to treat two women under the age of 30 in this manner and actually ruined my evening when I think about how he treated us. I feel as if hes really let his staff down as they were lovely! This has never happened before but I will never return to the Emperor again.

Really really good food! Very flavorful and good quantities.Moreover, the people running this place seem to be genuinely awesome! We ordered on Uber eats and not sure what happened, but the address in the order ended up being incorrect! To add to all of this, the shameless people at the wrong address kept the food! 😡Despite all this, the folks at Emperor cooked us a fresh order and sent it to our correct address! Most other places would have just pointed to the technical/ user error and done nothing about it, but these guys just took care of it. Such great customer service is commendable and we will definitely be ordering again, and have already told all our friends in the area about them!
