Thought we found our local Indian that we were happy with as the food is lovely but the customer service lets them down - around £1.30 for one popadom and no chutneys, when most other Indians give them complimentary or at least more than one when you’re paying that much for something that costs penny’s to make. Also bulked out a lamb dish with potatoes. If you want to keep customers happy and returning it’s the little things that count as well as the quality of food

Social distancing, masks & gloves - but still a warm friendly welcome. Food really good as usual.I would always recommend this restaurant, their food & their friendliness. A very enjoyable experience, which I was unsure of before we went out in these early days of easing lockdown. Thank you.

A wonderful time was had at this restaurant! Obviously the food is veerrryyy tasty! That's the best start isnt it? The atmosphere was good. The decor and table arrangement were beautifully done. Lighting was perfect. And in these Covid ridden days of lockdown, this is our takeaway of choice. Never ever been disappointed with the food.

Spacious restaurant well suited for social distancing. Food more expensive compared to prior to lockdown pricing, but understandable under the current circumstances. Currently no alcohol licence, so bring your own. Lovely food.

We went to dinner with the eat out help out scheme. They up all their prices so the meal is just as expensive. The online menu is cheaper by A LOT!! They then charged a 20% service charge fee which was not only calculated with the total before the £30 got taken off it was also not optional especially since the service wasn’t anything to brag about. The meal was salty and there was barely any chicken which meant we ordered some extra chicken. 4 pieces in a curry meal that costs £11 is extremely expensive!! Considering there was 3 people with no starters other than a couple of popadoms with a curry each - a naan bread for one person and two portions of rice with a side of saag aloo and a saag paneer with one small Diet Coke we were charged £56 - that’s with an additional £30 already taken off! So over all close on £30 per head for a curry. They have lost my business for sure. We decided to give someone else a go and we have just reassured ourselves that The Mogul is a rip off for a very sub par dinner.

A three course lunch menu for £5.00!! Got to give them 5 *'s just for this; but the food is also very good. Plus, they did not make us feel awkward about the hideous mess the baby (who didn't order anything) made. A bit embarrassing really, two three course meals, shared between 4 -for £10. Thank you mogul.

Good basic Indian food. Banquette nights especially good value on Thursday and Sunday. Fixed price for any starter, main, side, bread or rice. Relaxed, friendly staff. Note the normal chef if off on Monday.
