Outstanding curry. Ordered a takeaway a few nights ago, and was seriously impressed by the quality. The meat was tender, and the flavours excellent. Going to work my way through the menu over the next few weeks!

Not very nice lacking any flavour or even just a pinch of salt, and no spice to any of the dishes at all. Egg in the biryani was over cooked and black. Only 3 pieces of chicken in the Biryani 2 of which were quite pink. Barely any veg in the accompaning veg curry. Bindi had a really odd taste and was inedible. So disappointed as ordered based of everyone else's good reviews

We have used The Rose for many years after it was recommended to us. The food is consistently very good, the staff are always very friendly and service excellent.Like many local restaurants, they have gone the extra mile during 2020 and we will continue to support them.

We phoned our order through and it was delivered soon after. One of the starters did have the 'tomato from a tin' taste that I've seen mentioned in other reviews. I'd say maybe cream of tomato soup?!! But the other 3 dishes were very good. The tikka paneer had been cooked in a wood fired oven from the flavour and the veg dansak was a good curry heat. Will definitely order again.

Got a delivery from here in part because of all the good reviews, but my meal was bad so I feel obliged to balance it out a bit. The bhuna I had literally had no hotness to it, a first for me. It was like a tomato pasta sauce out of a jar. None of the expected flavours of spices or richness of taste. The popadoms turned out to be just 2 and they were strange folded stale things. Even the raw onion in the dips had no taste of onion - how is that even possible?

One of the best Indian Restaurants in Surrey in my opinion. Warm and friendly staff, reasonable prices and wonderful menu of 'classic Anglo-Indian' as well as a wife variety of dishes from all over India.
