Barley Mow Epsom in Epsom and Ewell

One of the best pub gardens in Epsom. Food is ok staff are very friendly.

The service was none existent and when they did come to the table there was no please or thankyou. You had to go to the bar to order and ask if they did small portions or had a children’s menu. Being a small eater I chose sausage and mash for children. I got 3 dried cocktail sausages and a table spoon of bright yellow mashed potato with peas. No choice of beans or vegetable sticks. The rest of the party had a burger ( mediocre ) and fish and chips. The chips were reheated and limp.. considering it was Friday lunchtime there were only about 8 other people in there which should have made us think.I have been there many times in the past but never had such appalling food as this. Definitely won’t go again.

Have been to this pub many a times and more recently as a plant based eater. Was pleasantly surprised to find plant based options on the menu. The Southern fried 'chicken' burger was really good!

Great atmos, great food, great beer, great fireplace in winter, any faults, I suppose it could be bigger inside for winter, has a big beer garden and a few steps access to a massive pay by hour car park.

I only dropped in here because Fuller's sent me a promo code for their 176th birthday. I'm so glad I did. What a lovely pub, and great staff. I'll definitely be back to try their Sunday Roast one day soon.

Comfortable but quite large round the back, looks like typical managed house food, would be happy to use. Bar to front quite cosy will a real fire, service good.

Visited for the first time yesterday and have to say it's a really nice environment with friendly staff and a good selection of different beers. Will definitely come back.

Fabulous staff. very accommodating. food was great, I had the steak sandwich. they bought us heaters when they saw us putting on our jackets. love flower display in the out side seating area. really lovely pub.

Character pub tuck away off the main drag. Plenty of seating inside or out, welcoming Management, great food at fair prices and a wide range of 'different' beers and lagers. Garden has to close down by 10:00 otherwise whats not to like?

BEST BEER GARDEN IN EPSOM.If you like a good range of traditional beer and largers in a comfy and relaxed proper pub setting this is the pub for you.Beer garden is definitely the best part with nice tables for all size groups. Sun trap for nice afternoons and umbrella if you get burnt easy.Great beer garden.Nice selection of beers on draft.
