Lucky 5 in Epsom and Ewell

I busted this establishment around 2 weeks ago and it was lovely. However, ordered today and it was a different experience.I ordered a special chow mein, for some reason it has been absolutely covered in curry powder. It was extremely dry and make me feel unwell. This is completely different than the first time showing that there is no consistency. In addition, this meal should contain shrimp, unfortunately I got 2 in total. Plus they had not been cleaned so still had the poo sack visible.The chicken balls were tasteless and dry and contained the smallest amount of chicken.Two weeks ago I thought I had found the perfect Chinese, but I guess the search continues.

Food delicious as is the norm but mushrooms stone cold tonight

Recently moved to area and stumbled upon this amazing Chinese restaurant. The food is utterly great - at a very very reasonable cost.I enjoy it more than The Good Earth in Esher by a long shot.Even when I made a mistake (I thought they’d got the order wrong, they hadn’t) they were so nice about it…So if you live nearby and want a fantastic Chinese just come here, you’d be lucky to do so.

Have ordered twice so far. Delicious food and good portion sizes at a decent price. Quick service too. Can't go wrong here.

Very reasonable food. The menu is hugeI’ve only tried a few dishes but they’ve been good. The Malaysian style ribs were falling off the bone and came in a delicious gravynasi goreng should have been hotter but it was still good. The owner had good English and was very welcoming. Thank you

Finally found a GOOD local Chinese. We've been on a search recently.The food arrived hot and fresh, the portions were very impressive. Customer service from the lady who answered the phone was so polite & helpful.5 stars.I did a Google search and read the reviews then placed my order and I was not disappointed with any of our dishes.Looking forward to the next take away.

We have lived here for a year now and tried various Chinese takeaways that could beat the Wok Express in New Malden . Lucky 5 has done it. Absolutely brilliant . The Lady listened to what we would like . Made 2 special dishes for us and it was really delicious . Speedy delivery. The search is over . Will be ordering from here in future .

I was a first time customer on Monday. Went in for a take away and was leaving again just 15 minutes later with a selection of some of the best Chinese take away i have ever had. I judge a place by its prawn balls and singapore chow mein and both were spot on.Tasty, quick and well priced food.
