Being local I’ve been here a few times. Service can be up and down but food is generally ok. Went today for a late lunch with family and didn’t realise it was order at the counter as I’ve always known there to be table service. Was politely told by one staff member it’s now order at counter and before I’d even acknowledged her another girl working there decided to yell across the room that it had been like that for 2 years. Her tone was unnecessary and sarcastic. It’s not my job to remember the customer journey in every restaurant and life’s too short to go somewhere where the staff speak down to customers and aren’t welcoming. Felt she’d created a hostile environment and I didn’t want to stay so I took my family to Jooby Thai where we had a lovely warm welcome and great food.

Polite staff, good food. A little more expensive than some local cafe's of this type but the difference is clear and worth paying for, in my opinion. Have been before and will keep coming back.... until something goes wrong hahaha! which in about 4 years hasn't happened yet!

My meal was outstanding and the staff pleasant and friendly. Would prefer table service but prepared to go with order at the counter because the food is excellent.

Great options and lovely food. Good service even with the crowd. Slightly higher price for a cafe, but very good quality

excellent choice of cakes and sandwiches. Very fast service and very clean nice calm atmosphere .loved the seating outside. A good independent café and not the usual chain.

Unpleasant atmosphere - clattering plates and cutlery would have drowned out the music if there was any playing. Staff were cold and contributed to the noise by shouting across the shop. They were unable to fulfil my request for a tea...which is running a cafe 101 surely. The couple next to us also had an issue with their order, then ended up with guacamole on their shoes... Didn't finish their meals and left with half remaining - clearly angry!Definitely won't be returning - 2 stars is generous.

Ok food. however the service is really slow, staff are rude and blunt, took ages to take our order at the till. as we were sitting down eating, a staff member past us angrily swearing about the colleagues and threw his black apron thing onto the table next to us which we thought was inappropriate in work place.

Independent cafe/restaurant in the Ashley Centre in Epsom, which is refreshing to see amongst so many carbon-copy chains. I ordered a Gyro, which is a kind of wrap filled with grilled chicken and chips! Unusual, tasty, fresh and generous in size. I am looking forward to tasting something else off the menu next time I visit.

Very disappointed with the Plant Powered Burger served in the lettuce, it didn’t look appetising at all. It could have been served with a bit more colour, tomato, cucumber & onion. The burger in general was tasty but wasn’t impressed with paying £8.50 for a slice of lettuce & burger.

I’m not a huge fan of Epsom in general. It’s largely filled with arrogant conservatives who feel entitled. Anyways, i thought I try this cafe as it had a lovely display of fillings. I ordered a cheese tomato sandwich, with fresh onion on the side. I must admit it was an excellent presentation.I’m very disappointed in the service, as she seemed quite abrupt, and aggressive. Overall I think the staff should smile a little more, and show a little feather like quality.
