Queen Adelaide and Dragon in Epsom and Ewell

We spontaneously came here on Sunday and decided to have a drink and food. We ordered through the app as it said on the table, when our drinks came the young looking bar man didn’t even tell us they were not using the app. So we ordered the food through app , then to be told it was being made special and would take 30-40 mins. We waited and it finally came out. We went to eat and realised no one had brought over knives and forks , my partner asked for some and they eventually came after asking two people. The funny thing is they wasn’t really that busy so I don’t know why they were turning people away the door. Loads of spare tables too. I know now why we have avoided this places for ages and I won’t be going back. It’s a basic to provide knives and forks at the table. I wasn’t brought up in a zoo

Proper local full run by Amy and her amazing team. The girls have my order ready before I even get through the door and the food is top notch. Even the chefs come out to say hi and everyone is really friendly. They have live music nights and quiz nights - something to suit everyone

I went to the Adelaide for some food, I had a mixed grill and it was cooked to perfection. Jay and amy were very welcoming, the atmosphere was great and they are both brilliant at their jobs. Will definitely be returning😃

We popped in tonight after work for something to eat, the food was really good, well done to the team in kitchen. A very big thank you and well done to Holly their newest team member and apprentice, our dinner was lovely we will definitely be back 😃 we highly recommend the gammon and chips!!

Amazing! Great spot for some Friday night drinks! Jay was extremely helpful & friendly, I will 100% be coming back. This isn't my local I live over by Hampton but I'll make the journey to Stoneleigh again for the atmosphere and staff here! A great example of a cosy British pub!

Very disappointed short staffed poor service but quality of food was very bad. Burnt lasagna had to be taken back. The steaks were and whole plate was not to any standard. We were regulars before lockdown but since reopening the standard has definitely dropped and will not be returning

Went here today for a birthday drink with my partner. Was very disappointed. Was met by Jay. No hello or welcome from her. No customer service skills at all.she looked like we were an inconvenience to her day. We ordered a large gin and lemonade and a pint and a large nachos to share.£20 total. Pub very clean. Tables clean country music playing . Gin made very basic. Not like last time when an elderly gentleman added fruit and was very welcoming and jolly. Waited 25 minutes for the nachos. Another lady , came over with the bowl. She Left it at the corner of the table. The most miserable face on her and she just said you dont need knives and forks do you !! Wont be back. Such a shame as really liked the pub last time.

Twice I've been here, December and February. Both times service has been pretty slow....lack of staff? Both times they've had no seabass and both times the beer has been superb. Good pub or bad restaurant? Your call, I think bad restaurant.

Excellent staff, Jay was the first person to meet us. Friendly, with excellent customer service skills. Tom and Amy were also brilliant. The service is great here. There is a friendly atmosphere too. The food is amazing. We will definitely return. Thank you all for making us welcome.

1 star for a 1 hour wait. My steak & ale pie was nice in the end but the veg had that cooked-from-frozen taste.Lovely bartenders, especially the lady who gave us £2 back (dessert for free) when she realised how long we had been waiting.I’ll happily go back for a drink, but won’t put myself through the wait for sub-standard food again.
