The Spring Tavern in Epsom and Ewell

Have eaten at the Spring Tavern a number of times - the food is always delicious and the customer service is excellent, even when it's busy. All the staff are very friendly - I have to shout-out Jason who has served myself, my husband and family a number of times and is always so welcoming! We always look forward to going back.

Having been there for a roast and for a mid week dinner, the food is definitely high quality and tasty, but just watch out for the hidden extra charges like for more gravy when the initial pot was only half full or for a swap of a potato side (if there will be an extra charge, let the customer know when ordering!). And don't bother ordering the pork belly dish with the scallops as two small scallops isn't worth £4 for. The service is often quite slow too which is a shame (i.e. taking over 30 minutes to be given our bill so that we could leave).

Georgia & Jason made our evening great, their customer service was 5 star. I couldn't fault them both they were very helpful with recommendations for drinks and food and both had good banta which made it easy to connect. I would highly recommend the spring tavern and look forward to our next visit.

A lovely gastro pub, beautifully served and presented food in a beautifully furnished dining room, casual but stylish. Particularly recommend the salmon or the fish cakes or the duck salad. Service, by Jason, is always with a smile and a quick joke and makes dining there an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend.

We were heading down south from London and just wanted a quick pub lunch, so we popped by the Spring Tavern. It was excellent! Lovely pub, fantastic food and absolutely spectacular service - particularly from Maria!We will definitely be planning our routes through Surrey to take us back to Spring Tavern next time we're heading down south. Highly recommended for anything from a romantic countryside lunch to a family outing!

Tried this place for the first time, and I hadn't checked reviews. After checking now I'm not the least bit surprised they all seem to be five stars. Absolutely lovely place to be, cosy but stylish on the inside. We only came for a quick lunch but I wish we'd stayed longer now!We were served by Maria, who was incredibly sweet and the service was excellent. We both ordered the scallops and pork belly (recommended by Maria) and I'm very glad we did. Stunning presentation, tasted sensational, really couldn't fault any part of it.We'll definitely be back for more visits and longer stays! Absolutely recommended. Thanks Maria!

Delicious food and great service. It’s the second time we have visited the Spring in the last two months. Our food was perfectly cooked and the service was attentive without being intrusive. It was a very busy Sunday for the staff yet everyone we encountered was helpful, patient and efficient in tending to tables. Would recommend for anyone looking for a tasty meal in a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be returning, and are now looking to book over the festive period as we are convinced the Spring will not disappoint !

We actually came across this gem by chance. After a long day out visiting Chessington World of Adventures the family and I were on our way to a local McDonald’s drive thru and just happened to pass by.Goes without saying this is a truly unique restaurant with lovely art deco and elegant decor on the walls. Well thought out layout!Being vegetarian the food was excellent, especially the plant based burger being a favourite 🍔I can imagine on the weekend this place being packed to capacity; so get in early as i believe there’s only a few parking spaces on site.Honestly… I can say it was the perfect experience, I would come back. Even though live 53 miles away! Try the Mac n cheese starter, it was amazing and a firm staff favourite. Here’s a few photos I captured, enjoy!

Delicious food and excellent service! Ordered the rack of lamb that was perfectly cooked medium and very tender. Pork belly was almost pulling apart and crackling was snapping perfectly. Dylan was exceptionally good this evening as it was a relatively busy dinner service and he was patient yet efficient in tending to tables and clearing plates. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a tasty meal out at reasonable prices!

The spring tavern - ewellThis pub is fantastic, all the staff are very friendly & the service from all of them is 5 stars, if you are looking for a homely pub with 5 star food you don't need to look anymore because the spring tavern has everything you need for an amazing night out, birthdays, date night, anniversary etc, issy is fantastic & is always busy but even so the service from her is 5 stars, James is equally fantastic along with Megan. Jason is an absolute star, the atmosphere is fantastic when his there, he brings happiness to everyone around him, his always smiling & nothing is to much trouble for him or any of the fantastic staff they will go above and beyond to make sure you have a lovely time & that you have everything you want. Vicky is brilliant, friendly & very good. I'm will continue to come regularly for the fantastic delicious food the outstanding service, the lovely atmosphere, & seeing the staff is a joy in its self. Also the spring tavern are now doing take-away food and let me tell everyone it's amazing I've ordered 2 times already and there is no words, absolutely fantastic and delicious. If you order a take - away you will not be disappointed.the chefs are amazing cooks. see you Saturday guys 😊😜
