Toby Carvery in Epsom and Ewell

Excellent meal. This place used to be very good then I believe a few years ago there was some issue. However, our visit was excellent. We arrived an hour early but an excellent member of staff, maybe the manager, was Irish I believe, fitted us in and his general attitude was fantastic. Very, very helpful and a great sense of humour. The staff were attentive and helpful. Most importantly the food was great. Highly recommended and our favourite Toby we have visited.

Best Carvery I've been to food fantastic, fresh wide selection of meats. Excellent atmosphere. If you don't fancy cooking your own Sunday roast don't worry Toby Ewell will live up to your Roast standards that you are used to cooking at home. Excellent 👌 looking forward to going to there again soon.

Absolutely amazing English Breakfast. I have visited this branch for a long time, just love the way the staff attends to customers, very helpful. Food is always hept warm.

Booked a table.No queue to get our food.It was very tasty and hot for a change.Price was also very good.We will be coming back again.Friends I was with been coming a lot lately and really enjoy themselves and the food.

My husband and I have been back a couple of times since covid and all but once I have experienced nothing but polite and friendly staff including the chief’s. Most times the food is hot and a good variety.Today we had a delivery as son has covid. We were disappointed with the meat portion size and we obviously all had the end, over cooked slice. I had the gammon, 1 slice of which was at least a 1/3 fat. There is no choice of veg which would be good as I was given 3 veg I don’t like as was my son husband 1 and daughter 2. So half our dinner was a waste with very little meat. However the potatoes were great as was the Yorkshire pudding and great portion of gravy. Perhaps it would be better to collect where I can ask for a choice! Otherwise I will only eat in in future!

Staff were lovely and so was the food. The manager on shift was ensuring everyone was well and helping in all areas. Such a lovely experience and looking forward to go back. Thank you to James, Antonio and Ivana for looking after us :)

Had a fantastic meal at the Toby today, meat was tender, loads of veg and great potatoes! Vernon and his wife and the friendly waitresses made the experience extra special. They have done wonders here since taking it over. Thank you guys Brilliant!!!

Had a lovely roast dinner with all the trimmings. Lad doing the carving saw me coming and made sure I had the giant boat plate, giving me the opportunity to put my friends to shame with my gargantuan appetite. Clean, and a decent sized car park. Really enjoyed this Toby Carvery and will definitely be back!

This was my first trip out for lunch following major surgery which has meant me using a wheelchair initially for the first time in my life. I was very nervous about going out. On arrival Wernon greeted us and was very welcoming. He put me at ease immediately. He made sure we knew to enter our car registration into the parking system before Showing us to a table. He helped me get comfortable prior to our waitress coming over to take our order.The food was good and very great value.The restaurant has been refurbished since I last visited and it was very clean.Can’t fault it.

Well cooked meat, fresh vegetable sides and condiments. Service was also very efficient and friendly!
